We've seen him in art, and now we see him in action. Who is this bald man?

So...a character who you don't know anything about other than the fact he's bald seems "boring"?
Yeah, go figure.
I'd suggest waiting until, I don't know, we reveal a little more about his character before you decide you know everything about him and his place in the story. For all you know, he could eventually end up being your favorite character in Inquisition.
Novel to see a male character's appearance being picked over, however. Must be because he's an elf.

Nah, it's that concept art that makes people think his ugly.
Err...which concept art? How do you know which concept art he's based on?

This concept art:
And it's because they are both bald...
First: characters go through a lot of changes over time, and a lot of different concepts. Even in the DAI concepts which have been released, I'm pretty sure you'll see a few different versions of that "bald elf" character. Don't assume that's the one in which the in-game model has been based.
And, at any rate, you can already see what he looks like in-game. I believe his in-game model was posted on the BioWare blog in the December update. That still doesn't tell you what he's about, or gives you any better impression of what kind of LI he would make (as this is evidently the only purpose of characters)...quite frankly, a character that is ugly as sin could still be an awesome party member.
We'll be discussing the character more at some point in the future. Stay tuned for that. Until then, I suppose "bald elf guy I wouldn't want to sleep with" will have to do.

Don´t you think people would be more positivie if he had hair?
We don't design characters based solely on how attractive people think they will be... and that's "attractive" as in "conventionally attractive", as what someone finds attractive will vary according to the individual. If we did design characters to be conventionally attractive, then every female LI would be a buxom blonde.
But not every character is a LI. And, even for those that are, the art team is going to design their appearance to be interesting and tied to the actual character themselves...they'll go for presence before they go for attractiveness. Take a look at what Casper Konefal, one of our concept artists, wrote about the subject in his blog.
So, no, we don't particularly care how positive people are. I realize that a couple of old concepts, a blurry image of his back, and a somewhat-less-old t-pose model is all you really have to speculate on at the moment--so you'll do what you do--but if the idea is that all characters exist to first be pretty no matter their role in the game...then that's simply not the case. Even for a character that's a LI, if they're someone you don't personally find attractive...oh well? Guess you'll have to find someone else or go without.

Great, now I kinda feel like a judgmental, shallow asshat* for saying that I dislike the way a virtual character looks.
You are free to dislike how a character looks. That in no way makes you an "asshat".
My comments are directed solely at the idea that a character exists solely to be physically attractive, and that--failing to be such--they don't belong in the game. If you don't feel that way, I'm not talking about you. If you do feel that way, you're free to disregard me. Premature as such a sentiment may be, there's not exactly much information for you to go on, so speculate away.
