I don't use it. It's an AR-like sniper rifle with mediocre damage, pretty high recoil and no-scope damage penalty but the main reason I don't like it is that micro-explosion-like effect on hit.
And I don't like to use scope longer than 2 sec in this game anyway.
I would use it more often if it wasn't for the stupid 50% hipfire penalty, and since you can't technically quickscope an automatic weapon imho is very bad on tight maps, that's why I don't use it anymore, even if I'd like to.
I used it just a few games on my trusty salarian infiltrator.
QMI - one of my first reliable Plat setups.
Everyone, but I found it suited Turian Ghost the best for some reason, maybe because of the Overload and extra stabilty options, and Tactical Cloak and Stim Packs boost the damage as well.

Indra is pretty damn good. I consider it weaker harrier with scope.
With a Salarian Engineer.
Always giving him weak/light snipers.
It's almost like a scoped Harrier that has a decent amount of spare ammo.

LOL, I really love how every time someone asks a question like "on what kit would you use weapon xyz" the summarized answer of the community almost always adds up to "any kit".

Highest I've ever scored on a full team on Gold was with the Indra on the Kroguard. As a few others have said, it's a scoped Harrier that trades some damage for ammo capacity. It's just a shame they didn't think to remove the hipfire penalty.
Not a fan of scoped guns, but I found it is actually pretty beastly when using it with Hunter Mode and Drill Rounds recently.
I use it most on the Salarian Engineer. I like it, which is in some ways unfortunate for it as I tend to complete its challenge quickly then stop using it for a long period until I get round to completing the rest of the sniper rifle challenge. It's one of my higher-level URs which helps it too. Also it only has a 2x scope so it is not as much as a problem on tighter maps as the scopes on other sniper rifles are.
I find it works really well on the Demolisher, if you put on some incendiary ammo and get her to throw the arc grenades. Explosions everywhere.
Any kit. It can make anyone ready for gold.
I find it best for priming targets with a power-dependant character. My favorites are Sal Eng and Sal Inf. IF you put Incendiary or Disruptor ammo on it, you can detonate FE or TB pretty easily with Energy Drain.
Other than that, its a nice distance weapon on a gun-centric character, like the N7 destroyer. Maybe pair it with a Raider to cover long/short range both.
It's pretty lulzy on the TSol. Dem 360 noscopes tho
I don't use Indra. End of story.
Haven't used it in ages because my hands won't let me, but I loved it on the HE and SI.
