Bioware just put up a new lithograph today in the treehouse bioware store. It is a lithograph to celebrate the trilogy with many of the most important characters included. It is fantastically detailed and well designed.

They are doing a special edition, hand numbered and signed that measures 24" x 36" of 500 copies for $60. There is also an open edition that measures 18" x 24" for $25.

Below is a link and a picture for those interested. http://www.biowarest...lithograph.html

The 500 limited edition version sold out. However the open end, unsigned and unnumbered version is still available.

Yay for Tali being up front though.

Jack, Thane and EDI, but no Kaidan? No thanks, Bioware.

No FemShep, no thanks.

I know it's difficult to produce two versions depending on the gender of the protagonist, however, this is the reality for many of us.

A female Shepard is the face of the franchise for me. This grizzled dude who I've never once had as my avatar is not.

This is one of the best looking Lithos released for a long time. Almost has a Drew Struzan look to it. I don't have the money for it right now but decided to put it on my credit card, glad I did. Although guaranteed at least 1/3 of the total stock will end up on eBay for stupid mark-ups.

Can't remember where I saw it but someone suggested one tiny improvement which would be to have Saren's eyes along the top like in t he 1st poster

Dammit, beat me there.

But really, it annoys me. And I even like Liara.

I would like to see a lithograph with just the crewmembers and not the squadmates. Samantha, Steve, Ken and Gabby, Adams, Chadwas, Kelly and Joker

Why they always leave someone out?

Loved the piece, if it had ALL companions it would be a instant buy for me, but i will have to pass and stay with "The Team" litho from ME2 (that doesn't have Zaeed! ).

I hope they do some Team lithos for DA someday (1 for each game!)

It should come in a thick and sturdy cardboard tube. That is how the posters have been shipping lately. They have changed their packing protocol to better protect prints, as there were problems in the past.

So...no frame?

No the framing is done yourself. If you're interested in having it framed there is a few ways to go, such as taking it to your local Michael's, AC Moore or Hobby Lobby.

You can also get a professional framer that you know personally, or you can check out hollywood poster frames. They have reasonably priced frames and they are of good quality. Here is the link. http://www.hollywoodposterframes.com./

Open Editions usually have text on them. It's not going to look like this, will it?

xmini-me-masseffectsaga.jpg.pagespeed.ic

If so, it's a little disappointing, because the text is way too large (with the image being too small). It distracts the eyes from the image itself. It'll be like a huge middle finger to those who were too damn late (like me) to order the Limited Edition.

Seems like Liara is more of a focus than Shepard is, which I kind of like. Makes it feel like Shepard is watching over them. But no Kaiden? Default Shepard only? They should of made two copies with every squad member and Shepard would have the helmet on, one being male Shepard and the other being female Shepard.

I think it is hard when you make something to celebrate the entire Mass Effect series without leaving something out, someone wants in. Others have thought it was too cluttered as it is, which I don't agree with. I would have liked Saren or Anderson to be in it, but there is so many characters. It would be tough to include them all without making it too distracting, which is what happened with the N7 day giclee.

I do feel there should have been a female shepard for those who play as her, even though I have a custom male shepard. I think they tried to include what they thought were the most influential and important characters to the series. There is always someone who gets left out unfortunately.
