I don't think the Old God baby situation was canon.

Her epilogue says she's pregnant if a male warden romanced her even if he turned down the dark ritual.

I believe that Demon Baby Morrigan is cannon whether or not it is your demon baby is a matter of preference.

I also understand that Bioware are working on something that will allow you to create the world you want before you start without having to directly import save games.

Er, not really. David Gaider is on record stating that if the player refused the ritual, the Old God Baby does not exist. Here's one of the relevant quotes from the old forums:

David Gaider wrote ...

While I won't discuss how the Dark Ritual decision will affect future games, I can say (and have said) that the choice won't be ignored-- it's pretty fundamental. So Morrigan will have a son only if she either romanced a male Warden or if the Dark Ritual was performed... and in only the latter case will that son be the so-called OGB.

Father time has changed Morrigan with or witout dat baby.

We'll have to see who rolls the nickels, and who deals the cards when Inquisition hits.

I've got a thread up with actual rumors of what's in DA:I, and one of the topics covered was the canon regarding the old god baby. If you haven't already seen the thread, you can click here to get there. It's got a lot of information. Anyway, if you don't use The Keep, then there is no old god baby.

The Keep is the method that allows you to create 'world states' (which is your history regarding DA:O and DA2). There is no way to import previous game saves into Inquisition. The Keep will be released either slightly before or at the same time as DA:I.
