Pretty much the title. Have we heard anything at all about potential romances in DA:I?

We don't even know if Cullen is a companion yet. 

 

 

Anyway, nothing is confirmed. Not even who all of the companions are.

I think we have a good chance of either Vivienne/Cassandra, probably not both.

They exist. That is almost literally all we know.

 

Things we don't know include which characters have romances, how many of them there are, and whether or not all the LIs will bisexual/'playersexual'. I think we can safely assume based on things the writers have said that we'll have our choice of two genders and at least four characters in total.

I think any mention of romance will be well after we actually know who all the companion characters will be. So, around the time the game releases is my guess.

Danke, I was kind of concerned this might be something that was dropped in DAI. Just my paranoia rather than anything I've seen or heard, but I figured I'd ask.

I'm still hoping for Varric though.

David Gaider is writing two of them I believe. So Cassandra is a safe bet.

My guess is that there will be 6 romances. Cassandra and Vivienne are givens. As for the other female, id guess the female elf with the blonde hair. The male's are unclear. Does anyone think Varric will be a romance?

Isn't that a given? I thought DA2 established that all romances will be available to either gender PC, as that allows for maximum player choice. Is this not the case?

I'm really hoping there are plenty of options to romance non-companion characters.  I love that stuff

I can imagine that Cassandra is a pretty safe bet. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong somebody...) David Gaider is writing two characters and two romances, with Cassandra being one of those characters. I can't imagine the writers would write romances for characters they didn't write themselves, but then I'm not in the industry so I can't really say.

Romances: I really hope Blonde Elve Girl is beautiful. Because we are probably choosing between her and Vivienne.

I think Cassandra's a higher likelihood than Vivienne if only one of them is a romance option. I've not seen a BioWare game pump a chick into a cinematic trailer who didn't eventually want the protagonist.
