Nick Cage looks like he has upside down elf ears, in the above picture. What happened there??
Not really sure. I did horizontally flip the original picture so he'd be facing the same way Solas is in that pic. Does kinda make his ears look funny, though.
I feel like this is obligatory now:
In my head, they've got that running on a loop, projected on all the walls in the writers' room whenever anything involving Solas is being written.
Really hoping for Cass and/or Viv. If Viv isn't a romance (or is straight) then I will create a character who will be single forever and as evil as possible and blame it on her 
I can imagine that Cassandra is a pretty safe bet. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong somebody...) David Gaider is writing two characters and two romances, with Cassandra being one of those characters. I can't imagine the writers would write romances for characters they didn't write themselves, but then I'm not in the industry so I can't really say.
I'm pretty sure he's the writer for Solas, the elf mage, as well, though in that thread he seemed to turn down the notion that Solas is a romance. Although he usually writes the romances, maybe we shouldn't assume that it's a romance just because Gaider wrote it.
I'm guessing there will only be four romances total. Two male, two female, all available to all players. If they add another one or two, I'll be surprised. Most likely they'll be Cassandra and the blonde elf woman and... for the men, I do not know. Cullen isn't confirmed, and if Cole is in-game he will NOT be a romance (thank goodness--Cole has the mind of a child, so while a spirit romance might be interesting, I'd rather it be a character whose mind is far more mature). Iron Bull is a possibility. The Warden doesn't strike me as one who would be available to romance. Varric? Perhaps.
I'll be shocked if there are three males and three females available for romance, but it's a possibility. Then there'd be Cassandra-Vivienne-Sera, and... whoever the three male romances will be, probably including Solas but who knows since Gaider seemed to indicate otherwise? And the males are the ones I'm actually interested in.
OMG!! Now that is all I can see when I look at Solas...dirty underware...um...yeah...

Cassandra and Vivienne are my picks for LIs. I love warrior women and I love women with magic (I romanced Morrigan and Merrill previously).
For some reason, I think Sera will be in a relationship with one of the other companions (most likely Iron Bull).
I don't think both Vivi and Cass will be LIs though. They both seems pretty serious and intense. Normally they would go with LIs that have somewhat opposite personalities. Morrigan was wild and passionate while Leliana was sweet and romantic. Merrill was naive and bubbling while Isabella was flirty and adventurous. So I guess this time either Vivi or Cass will be our "serious" female LI, the other might be "Sera" as a "playful" one.
I don't even want to speculate a guess on who we can romance because I don't want to end up let down if I'm wrong.

So many interesting suppositions. I feel like I have too much power knowing those who will be happy, and those who will feed writer tears (lol who am I kidding... I'm sure tears will be made by all... just for different reasons! )
