I loved Reegar in Mass Effect 2 and wanted him as a squad mate in Mass Effect 3(especially to team up with Miranda, Chuck FTW) but alas that dream was crushed, and Reegar couldn't even make a cameo.
I know how that feels

I'm sure there are more fans of Kal'Reegar, Morinth and Emily Wong than Kai Leng, Starchild and Diana Allers. Even Sha'ira got a talking cameo! 
And I love Admiral Raan's voice, and I remember her voice actress in X-Men 3: Last Stand! She was the nurse that got killed by the porcupine guy.

It's so random they gave Reegar an American accent, but it certainly adds to his character. Bold, brave, yet honorable. If they had to kill him, they should've atleast wrote it into an important mission and cutscene so that we can feel it. Reading that letter about his death was too lame.

biggest missed oppourtunity for a new squadmate in ME3 IMO. Would have offered a different perspective on the quarians than Tali, and would have made a more interesting "soldier" archetype than James.
