You could just select the pack and the quantity instead of slowly repeating several times.

The ME4 store shouldn't be primarily RNG based.

and what happens if there is a power cut or the cursed dc from ea servers during that eight minutes. You might lose everything, knowing how reliable ea servers are.

A user-friendly store interest us and Bioware (instead of a big time waster one).

To avoid problems it could:

- Lock the account.

- Compile all the itens and check before granting them and discounting the credits.

- Have time out.

- Include a cancel command.

It could show the % progress and a summary in the end (instead of openning packs in series):

- x medi-gel.

- y missiles.

...

The store is defined on the local machine not the server. The balance changes determine what's in the store but when you buy a pack you're really just saving your profile to the cloud. Its updating your credits and what you have unlocked, not asking the server for what you unlocked.

The store is defined on the local machine not the server. The balance changes determine what's in the store but when you buy a pack you're really just saving your profile to the cloud. Its updating your credits and what you have unlocked, not asking the server for what you unlocked.

... that being the case then it shouldn't take any real amount more time to open 50 packs than 1; when it runs the cloud update it could still just be a single (connect > authenticate > update) message to the server, only larger by a few bytes (50x thing, 30x other thing, etc. rather than 1x thing, another 1x thing etc.).

Which would be far, far quicker (and less tedious) than having to run through the process many times.
