Hey everybody! Bahoogasmif here with the blessings of the Bun Empress to bring forth a brand new writing contest! Free reign has been given to me for creating what I will be calling, The Fluff Off.

 

Contest: Here's the gig. For all people interested, your goal will be to create any romance you see fit between any two characters in the mass effect universe, and inspire in me the, 'daaw' effect.

 

I will be rating these stories for fluffiness and cute moments, but I will not mark down for teasing and 'over the suit' action. No smut, though. If it's cute, I want to see it!

 

Rules: No smut. I'm not interested in reading about private parts and groaning.

 

Secondly, the characters must not be OC's. I want to see your take on canon characters voices and reactions. These can be living or killed off characters, but they must have been shown at some point in either the games or the books. (Keep in mind I haven't read the books, so anyone from there will need to be explained in detail.)

No two people can write the same romance. Meaning, if someone chooses Tali and Shepard, for instance, someone else can still write Tali, but not paired with Shepard.

 

Thirdly, this story should not exceed 15K, and if you submit a story over that limit I will read it, but will not take it into the contest. This story can be a one shot or a chaptered piece, just make sure it makes it in under the limit!

 

Lastly, you have until April 30 to bring forth your inner cuteness!

 

 

Rewards: First place will be determined by me, and will receive a full story review to any story of your choice chapter by chapter.

 

Second place will receive three reviews to a story of their choice. Unless of course it's under three chapters...

 

Third place will receive two reviews to a story of their choice.

 

Every participant will receive one magnificent review by yours truly regardless of placing,

I did say 'over the suit' action. Which I suppose could use some defining. By this, I meant you can in fact allude to sex.

I was going to do a more peripheral relationship. Either Sanders/Anderson, Joker/EDI or Gabby/Ken. Otherwise I would just default to Tali/Shep.
