Yeah, I liked what I was hearing in the trailer... though some parts more than others. Though I think I really only perked up at the end with that classic hummed melody. B)

I also really liked the ambient combat music we heard in the gameplay video when Quizzy & Co. were about to assault the enemy mage and warriors.

I'm not that excited. The music in the trailer sounds very synthetic to me. Just my opinion.

Could be place-holder music. As far as I recall, Trevor Morris wasn't announced all that long ago.

Ooooh so that's who he is! Honestly, I didn't even recognise the name but if he's behind The Tudors soundtrack, I'm totally sold.

I absolutely loved the soundtrack from the Tudors, and after a while I noticed that he also wrote the music for many other shows that I like as well...I'm almost positive that Inquisition will sound as good as it looks!

Hmm.. I liked Origin's music, but I never thought of it as anything exceptional. Same as I thought about most Bioware games.

I'm extremely excited. 2-5 tracks max from each of the previous games really stuck out to me but already the trailer piece kinda blew me away. And I'm generally a fan of this new composer anyway.

Definitely.  I don't know Morris's work, but I've enjoyed the first two DA soundtracks from Zur, and I hope the tradition of excellence is kept up. ("I am the One" ends up in a lot of my playlists, for example.)

I'm really looking forward to the music.  I thought the ME3 soundtrack was the best part of that game.  For previous DA games, nothing in 2 really impressed me.  Well except for the ending theme because I love Florence + The Machine.  I liked the music in Origins fine, it created ambiance (anytime I hear a violin string screech I still have horrible flashbacks to the Fade) but I never really wanted to just sit down and listen to it.  I have high hopes for Inqusition, though.

I'm enjoying listening to these youtube samples right now.  Thanks for posting them.

I'm pretty excited to hear the full score myself. I collect soundtracks from every movie and game that I like, and so far BioWare's games have been largely great. That said, Inon Zur was a tad hit or miss in the previous DA soundtracks, particularly in 2's, but I don't regret getting them.

I have the apparently-rare opinion that he was better with DA2, but it's hard to see because there are so many recycled tracks and the two best tracks in the franchise are both from Origins. (The opening and ending themes.)

I really hope bits like 3:55 of the OP's video actually make it into Inquisition's OST.

That flute is probably my favourite sound in the world. Maybe I'm missing something but I only remember one flute throughout the entire series' soundtracks. :S

I want to download the soundtrack from the teaser trailer. I think it was more of a drum sound, after the dragon landed in the trailer.

Have to confess I didn't know who he was until I saw Olympus has fallen. I am a little bit excited after watching that video.

I'm very excited for the soundtrack. Trevor Morris's soundtrack for season one of Vikings was wonderful, and season two sounds great so far. (He didn't create the awesome opening theme song, though--that's Fever Ray.)

I'm a bit curious if he can live up to his predecessor or not, i am hoping for the best but expecting nothing.

I haven't heard much of Trevor Morris' music, in fact, I hadn't heard of him before the announcement (though I am familiar with the show The Tudors). I trust Bioware's decision and am VERY excited for the soundtrack.

At the very least, it'll be serviceable.

I love soundtracks. I especially love writing with them playing in the background. I am very excited about the DAI soundtrack. I hope it equals the awesomeness of the Two Steps from Hell albums I recently purchased. Video game wise, I think I have albums from DA2, Mass Effect 2 & 3, and Assassin's Creed (also a John Williams rendition of Legend of Zelda). I really need to get an Elder Scrolls soundtrack.

So I found this...Someone edited out the Inquisitor's voice out from the soundtrack in the "Discover dragon age" trailer...And It sounds absolutely EPIC!

More curious than excited at this point. Particularly curious how the more combat oriented music will sound, since most of this seems more ambient/dramatic storytime medieval-ish. Personally I had hoped for Jesper Kyd for stuff like this.

I am happy they've gotten someone other than Inon Zur, and his work seems pretty good generally.

i've always liked the music from BW games.  I have DO:O, ME1,2,3 on my itunes and listen almost every day at work.  Yes, I'm looking forward to the music from DAI

Likewise. I have the scores from each Dragon Age and Mass Effect game as well as the music featured in the DLC's. I trust that the same will be true of DA:I as well.
