Pros:
- variety of species (fulfills the basic human need of controlling a Krogan)
- simplistic yet entertaining formula
- makes you forget about SP fiasco
- looks really nice for an UE3 game
- lots of fun guns
- a lot of potential for expanding the formula
- still not boring after 2 years (well, I took a long break though)
- nice devs
- smart and helpful community
- biweekly-turned-weekly operations (as long as it lasted)
Cons:
- bugs and glitches that are here to stay
- unlock system that encourages players to cheat or spoil others' fun by attending matches above one's apprioprate difficulty level
- some guns dominate the others
- balance changes were limited to too few areas, so they couldn't tackle the essence of some problems without destroying a gun completely
- easy to hack
- doesn't encourage teamwork enough

- BSN / TBF community
- multiplayer is still active after 2 years
Weaknesses:
- lots of unfixed bugs
- takes years to max your manifest

- Amount of support. 49(?) balance changes, at least 3 full-on patches, and 5 DLCs, all of which were completely free. Even though there's still quite a few issues, it's not like they didn't do anything.
- Replayability. Even after racking up hours in the triple/quadruple digits, and having done everything this game has to offer, most of us here keep playing it fairly regularly. Name another PvE game that managed something similar.
Weaknesses:
- Amount of bugs. Even though the support was good, there are still a number of game-breaking issues. PS3 memory leak is the most obvious, but things like the amount of issues caused by the netcode (on-host vs. off-host, etc.), and smaller things like the Incendiary glitch and 6/6/6/6/6 can't be overlooked very easily.
– RNG-based unlock system. Enough said, really.
There's a hell of a lot more than this, but it's very late and I'm quite tired.

By far the biggest weakness: origin stupidity, lack of proper net coding and general bugginess. Also lack of proper description of abilities/guns/pretty much everything. I know that's how it usually works in every game, but in my opinion, they pushed it too far in ME3, with descriptions becoming something to mock.

For me the biggest downfall is broken power evolutions as we'll as their misleading descriptions, and that it doesn't encourage team work more.
Lots of characters, weapons and strategies behind them are what kept me playing. Plus I love the gameplay and enemies.

Stysiaq summed it up pretty nicely.

Lots of characters, weapons and strategies behind them are what kept me playing. Plus I love the gameplay and enemies.
Oh and you can imagine the misleading descriptions mingled with terrible translations.
In French for example, I dunno if they've made the same mistake in English, but the description of the Vanilla Humans says (personally translated from French, my grammar isn't perfect) : "Their efforts to understand and adapt themselves to modern-day warfare have amazed the races of the Alliance."
I didn't know there were Turians and Asaris among the Alliance.
Or Hunter Mode, normally Rank 4a's description is "Increasing the recharge speed" and Rank 5a's is "Increasing the damage of all powers". In French, both titles are correctly translated, but the descriptions are both identical, except for the percentage.
One of the worst case of translation I've seen is when you're meeting the dying Batarian in the campaign. You have to talk to the male Turian nurse. "Nurse" is a neutral word, but in French we have "Infirmier" for male, and "Infirmière" for female. Guess what they have chosen ?

I personnally found it more enjoyable than single player mode. Only downside for me was that there wasn't more locations.

Considering how little time and energy the devs put into the MP, it's quite amazing how good and fun it turned out to be. That's both encouraging and disappointing: I am happy they added it, but feel bad when I think of how much better and more enjoyable it could have been if Bioware had really put some effort in it.

Strengths
*Excellent character variety.
*A ton of weapons to choose from.
*VENOM!!! (sorry, had to get that in there.
)
*Stock maps had a lot to choose from than most MP Co-Op games do before the dlc rolls out.
*Free dlc.
*Replayability is immense. I can never get bored of this game. Hell, I started an alternate account in addition to my main one.
*Still going strong two years after it came out. I think my MP time just started to surpass my collective SP time. Lol.
*Community is the best at least that I have come across.
*Devs that are extremely helpful and nice. ![]()
Weakness
*Bugs that are here to stay.
*Phantom on-host DR.
*Pyro flame animation and actual reach is very deceptive.
*Memory leak for PS3 owners (which I hope they fix when/if they do the port to PS4).
*Overbuffing of some enemies/factions.
That's all I can think of at the moment. I love the living hell out of this game and I'm proud to have bought it. ![]()

Yes, with all the limitations from an old engine and slow console hardware, the main focus on SP and fact that they had to use what was already somewhere in the game for MP DLCs Bioware did a really amazing job with ME3MP.
The two biggest weaknesses of ME3MP are imho the shortish support periode and the laggy matchmaking/servers/netcode .
If Bioware gets better with that I'm sure ME4MP will be an even better game.

You know nothing about weird translations, unless you had Błotniak Cerberusa and Strzelba Jad in your hands, mon ami.

The thing that I really hate the most is the netcode/origin issues (I can't connect to half the people on my FL
). The general buginess is bad, but the connection problems are terrible. The game feels so different off-host

I actually enjoyed the MP more than I expected, I'm strictly a SP guy,
However top of my head 1 pro 1 con
Pro: Several major updates for free, I personally would have in all probability not paid a single penny of MP DLC(I haven't touched the micro transactions.
Con: Some may disagree but I found the rounds lasted two long. Perhaps I just suck but even on lowest difficult the 10 waves took around 30minutes and while I do play marathon game sessions when I can 30minute rounds where a bit of a distraction.

game could go another 5 years if they fixed the bugs and added a few more maps or missions
-no credits big game breakiong one if you ask me
-broken ladders
-no host country ID
-stuck mobs break the map (sometimes not game breaking)
-some powers just don't work (vangaurd, shadowstrike, etc)
-sometimes can't shoot until you heavy melee
-not explained score=xp
-excellent game (beta) needs more support
-excellent companion to ME3
-great co-op experience
-excellent variety of powers and guns great gameplay from both
-2000hours of fun on top of me3 single player
