Sabotage only match?

Something like predators or shurikens only as weapons and just hack everything.

My cravings are such that I just might try this myself if no one else is interested in teaming up.

In Mass Effect 2, I had a character who had both AI Hacking and Dominate as powers. I never needed to use my weapons.

I like the concept, but since Sabotage doesn't work anymore after the 3rd try, it would be near impossible unless you try on Bronze, Silver at most.

You know, the widow has a really poor RoF even with reload canceling, but yeah, you do destroy with the predator. Though Dragonracer would probably give all credit to the kit for that matter

Anyway, guns - OK but only the two mentioned, and the point is to concentrate on sabotage. Guns are for last resort, and for bosses once they get hack immunity.

Not a bad idea, until the collector base anyhow.  Every time I dominated, Harby would over dominate.  Bugger.

Sabotage doesn't work infinitely so it wouldn't work.

Yesterday I got an Atlas kill a Brute. lol

They happen to be the most fun faction for me, but it's heavily tied to kit selection. Really only the Primes frighten me. Wave 8 geth - favorite wave in the game (gold) regardless of kit.

We tried this once with friends, used sabotage-only kits with shurikens. It turned out a total disaster on Platinum (we had to use our guns all the time and the match took ~45 minutes), Gold is meh but you'll have to concentrate on guns anyway, since sabotage stops working after 3 tries. Silver could be doable but lolsilver.

Wuss, also sabotage owns geth. You just have to be a little creative and patient. Pyro's flamed for instance seemed like 2x damage that of a Vorcha flamer. Three BW shots to the head and the prime is shieldless. Hack that pyro beside him, and he's gonna melt it quick. That's just one source, imagine if you hacked two pyro's, rocket trooper and a bomber.

I don't see how one could solo gold like this. Not that it would be impossible but hurtful.
I won't be attempting this on my own without some form of cheese...

I absolutely dispise Geth in ME3. Those toasters used to be alright back in the ME2 days, the days when hacking was not only useful but hilarious as well. Geth killing Geth never gets old

Wow! I thought I was the only one who would consider something so obtuse. lol

 

Back in the day when the QFI got nerfed I ran a bronze solo to see if I could get a zero score match by using only sabotage. In my haste, I of course forgot that we get bonuses for objective rounds. Think my total was a bit over 30K.

 

Anyway, that was so easy it made me do a gold solo against reapers using the QFI, shuriken and no stickies. My firepower was the mighty shuriken and sabotage only. It was quite straightforward, the only problem was dealing with the banshee "pairs" that show up later in the match.

 

I used Firebase White so I could attract them to the upper level and run a loop. Doing enough damage to one of the banshees to make her stop while her "sister" continued to pursue me, I could loop around and flank the 1st banshee and continue to do additional damage. Took about an hour (so I'm a scrub), but was one of the most enjoyable solos I've done.

Sounds interesting... but a little boring. Still, I love hacking Pyros and watching them nearly annihilate a spawn. But, which character would we use? FQI, Turian Saboteur, or Quarian Marksman?

way back before sabotage got nerfed I recall a group doing this very thing. I believe it may even have been the final vote in why sabotage needed nerfing. I looked for the old thread, but I got lazy as I'm on my phone. So, in the end I contribute nothing to the conversation except to admit I've lurked a long time.

I let Geth kill Geth all the time.

 

My Geth Engineer goes ham on them every time.
