Cullen was my second favorite character in DA2. I wish he and Hawke could have been very close friends.
So far, he's the only companion that I care for in DAI and he's one of the very few reasons that make me want to buy DAI.
y u necro thread?

3 months makes it a necro? I'd say at least a year.
It seems more appropriate to me than starting a whole new thread.
I don't want him anywhere near my Inquisition, but I'll likely not have a choice.
Oh no my Cullen isn't companion feels again! I though I was over this disapoinment of not getting to drag him around Thedas!

To clarify, Cullen is not a companion. You can't have him in your party. However, he is an advisor and apparently we will see the advisors a lot. I would have loved to have him as a companion, so I have some mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I think it's a pity that he won't join the party. But on the other hand I'm very happy that he is in the game at all.
Having said that, I still find it amazing that the character polarizes the crowd so much.

How is it amazing? He's a loyalist templar.
Yes, we want Cullen as a companion AND a LI!!
I remember reading somewhere that you can tell all of your companions apart from 1 (I assume it is Cassandra) to leave (or not to recruit them in the first) place, but since Cullen is not a real companion, rather an "adviser", will it be possible to send him away (and/or not to recruit him at all)?
