Hi, can anybody tell me how to set up an alternate account on the PC? I've tried to do it myself but can only get as far as entering the CD key that came with the game. Which has already been used, so I'm stuck. I've tried to search for the answer myself without success, but given how many times I've seen alternate accounts mentioned on this form, I assume someone here will be able to help.

Thanks in advance

Seeing that a lot of people called for "manifest reset" button, I'm afraid that purchasing another copy of the game is the only way. It's cheap though (as I recall it ME3 got cheap really quick).

Ahh, I thought there might be another way to do it without having to buy a new copy of the game. Nevermind then, thanks for the quick response

Are you transcending from a console to PC or are you just going for another PC account?

When I did it I actually made a whole new account with new email, bought a fresh copy on discount for 30€ if I recall correctly.
Sadly you can't link accounts to get all your completed challenges (weekend events) but you will get a gift pack that will probably contain the Juggernaut.

I don't think you can just make a new account and link the same game copy to it. I believe you can't have one game code registered under both accounts nor can you switch it to another one.

In other words, I think you'll have to buy another copy of ME if you want to play it on another account.

That's because the probability of running into a host that haxed his objective rewards increased exponentially in the last few months :)

I wasn't aware that PC wouldn't let more than one person have an account on the same copy of the game. That seems ludicrous. On PS3 or Xbox I can have an account per profile, the game isn't even relevant. How would two people who live in the same house play on the same PC? Do they both have to buy their own copy? O.o

I started an alt account as well.  My first account has a maxed manifest, and I thought it would be interesting to start over...  Did it the same way as Felicia.. I made a new Origin account, using a different email address, and purchased a new ME3 copy with that account (I think it was about $8 on sale).

Having lots of fun (and more than a bit of frustration) with the new account... and playing with such a limited manifest makes me feel even scrubbier than usual...but It keeps things interesting!  Enjoy!

@Jeremiah... yes, each person would have to have their own copy if they wanted their own account... welcome to Origin   :(

Contact EA. I was having some problems with Origin a while ago and their "solution" was to create a new account for me.

I did this on PC a month ago:

You need to create new email, create new origin account with new email.

Then go to https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/

Select game and other info

The ask customer suuport to move you existing ME3 game to another email+account while deleting all single & multiplayer progress and info.

Free of charge.

The game will not be available on you old account

A first it was fun to PUG 20K medal guys with Katana. They certanly did't excepect me to do any damage.
