Do you all remember the Tal-Vashoth guy from DA2 wasn't he a mercenary who followed his own path.

Well, it could be possible that it's him. But, I'd rather not get myself to hope on that. That would only lead to disappointment.

The only thing that we could really do right now, is sit and wait for more info.

I hope not. Too many people made cameos throughout the games.. I want new people.

But, based on the concept arts of the Qunari that has been shown to us; I don't think it would be Maraas. The one on the concept arts is too beefed up to be Maraas.

I seriously doubt it. I actually thought Maraas was one of the few interesting characters/NPCs in DA2, was hoping he would be a companion in DAI, but alas I don't think it'll happen. It would be interesting to see him in the future though, even if only for a small cameo.

I think a developer said no last time this thread was created.

If Iron Bull is a companion, then no. Maraas says he doesn't fight for important people because "they don't have jobs, they have causes."

I think the implication is that the Iron Bull has led his own mercenary company for ten years, which doesn't really fit Maraas' timeline.

Also, the Bull's character seems quite different to any qunari we've ever seen - Maraas was still pretty stoic and even solemn, which doesn't sound like the Iron Bull at all.

It's kind of a neat idea, but I agree with ElitePinecone. Maraas was more of a nihilist whereas the Bull seems like an unshackled hedonist.
