Perhaps Qunari broodmothers are the product of rogue Qunari who abandon the Qun, the ones which we meet in game who are simply labeled as 'Qunari mercenary'.

But they are warriors, the women have not gone from Par Vollen IIRC.

Edit: Well some might have gone during the occupation.

True, true. I've always been baffled by Qunari broodmothers. Now even more so :(

My suggestion to any Grey Warden commanders trying to persuade the Qunari to let them take potential recruits out of Seheron and Par Vollen: Bring a lot of baked goods.  If the Arishok ends talks and throws you out, just lay a trail of cookies outside the city, and wait for recruits to come to you...

I think we have found our answer........

Maybe instead of drinking blood, we can convince potential qunari Wardens to eat tainted cookies.

And Ogres were in earlier blights too, or so I've been lead to believe. And the Qunari were not discovered by Thedians until after the 4:th blight.

So, the deep roads run deep indeed.

That's right, I forgot about the Ogres. Maybe if the Qunari knew that the darkspawn are using their genes to create a new breed of darkspawns (plus, want to destroy all cookies), they would go beszerk on the blight.

Those silly Qunari and their fascination with baked goods.

Is sugar against the Qun or something?

No, they have sugar.  Their lack of sweets comes from an overabundance of pre-planning. Most cultures came up with cookies and cakes as a means of using up leftover bread dough.  Qunari are too efficient to have leftovers.  Which makes a lack of cookies their tragic flaw.

There are qunari women in Rivain.  There are females who flee to join the Tal'Vashoth (which is who all those "Qunari Mercenaries" are.) and they live scattered all over northern Thedas.

I was so shocked when I was talking to Sten and mentioned giving him some cookies, and his approval rating shot up by like 23 points or something. :P

I thought it was a bug or I read it wrong.  Single highest approval jump in the entire game.

I'm telling you, with enough cookies, you could steal the entire antaam before the Qunari knew what had happened.

Well, if Tevinter finds out about this then they will use it to break the Qunari armies.

Imagine the posters: Join the dark side, we have cookies!

I am curios however if the Qunari would wage war against the dwarves, seeing how many similarities their cultures share.

I wonder if the wardens were succesful in negotiating a treaty with them if they would actually create a kind of caste for it the way Sten describes them being born into their roles if they would create a new warden role.

Sten must be stopped, if they gain the secret of the cookie, they'll be unstoppable!

Unstoppable I tells ya!

This place? Oh you mean THIS place?
Man that place is the hardest. You have to face several 4 headed demonic dogs, corrupted elephants, and ant men. The boss is a an Orgre with a qunari cannon attached to each arm. Don't go there until you are level 30, or else you are screwed.
Hope that helps.

Where is what place?

The stone prisoner you go to Sulcher's Pass and talk to Felix. He will give you a map marker to where you go to find Shale.

Edit: Pipped at the post by Knight. :P

My question is.....

"Have there ever been any Qunari Grey Wardens yet?"

Well Sten obviously heard about the Wardens and has a positive image about them. But I doubt there had been Qunari wardens, unless they were rebels.
