Aww but I wanted gold eyes. I've become a total sucker for red hair and gold eyes lately. Piercing gold eyes.

Aww that's okay you can have gold eyes!  :D

Seriously I hope we have plenty of interesting options to choose from and everyone has access to at least a few customisation options they'd like. Yeah I totally want to see the CC so badly right now. I know I'm going to play female so I hope both voices really rock so I can vary it up in my different play throughs... mind you if the British voice is really good that may not happen anyway but still... I'm looking forward to hearing them hopefully soon.

Eeeee I think all of my characters ever created have had green or blue eyes. Though recently I've gone for the black hair, amber eyes combination.

Can't wait to play around with Inquisition's CC. :D

Mine usually have green eyes, then grey eyes or and then brown eyes and they nearly all have brown or black hair though in DAO I had a vibrant colours mod and gave some of my chars green, blue or burgundy red hair... just cause.  :P

I might be the only person excited for the American accent buuuut...

Living away from the States for so long now has made me miss it, that and I still can't get Benedict Cumberbatch's American accent out of my head...

Well AND my two favorite bada$$ ladies had American accents - Xena and fem Shep!

Xena's a kiwi and wow does Lucy Lawless do a really good American accent. Hearing her talk normally is shocking she's so convincing :o  :D

Interestingly I hear a lot of American accents and some British and Canadian ones given the various shows we watch but when it comes down to it I love Alex Wilton Regan's voice as Traynor in ME3 and as Ser Cauthrien and others in DAO and DA2, also Lena Headley, Elizabeth Henstridge in agants of shield and some others and so that's why I like the idea of British... then again I'm an Aussie and except for Yvonne as Miranda I don't expect to hear my accent much (I wasn't expecting it then either as usually Aussie actors/actresses have to change their accents partially or fully anyway for most roles outside Aus).

Mind you I tend to think accents different to my own are sexier for some reason so... yeah.  I can understand why you'd miss an American accent especially being so far away from the states and I hope the American voice is really great too.  :D

Speaking of accents, I know Cassandra's accent has bothered a lot of people, but to me she just sounds French (Quebecois french, granted, but french). Is that just me?

Also, I just hope that DA:I doesn't continue the trend of me playing female characters in Bioware games because I can't stand the male voice actor. Something about ManShep and Man Hawke's voice actors just really irked me. ManShep was that he was so flat and unemotive. Man Hawke it's harder to pin.

I like dark hair with blue or grey eyes, and usually what I use for the first.  I change to blondes and reds with greens and browns later. I am curious to what femquisitor will look like when they present her.  :)  Which race predominately as well, or if it will be equal race showing as well.

I believe I have stated this but right now that is important to me since the Malequisitor does sound probably like the best BioWare VA for a male protagonist in a good long while.  And that has, or would have, determined who I play first, male or female.  Just in ME I played Bro first since I had no idea who Jennifer Hale was and in DA O the people weren't voiced so it didn't matter.

Hmm why do you think that? I thought the only place where we could hear the VA was in the official trailer and he doesn't say much, there... reminded me a bit of Mark Meer, to be honest. Not to say that this is bad. Did I miss something? I'd love to hear more of the VA!

I really want a nice sounding female VA. I didn't care for the lady Hawke voice overmuch. It wasn't bad, but I preferred the male VA.

Yes, me neither. Maybe that's why Hawke never really grew on me. I found her acting to be over the top most of the times so that regardless of what option I chose I would always be "wait noooo I didn't mean it like that!" when she was saying it. Sigh.

Is it confirmed that there will be two different VA though? I know they said that we could chose from American and British accent voices but that could also be done by one VA I guess. I'd be somewhat horrified and impressed at the same time if they would pay for not only two but four different VA...

I really hope that they will at least show off the CC on the E3 and that someone out there makes a detailed youtube video out of it or something. And a new trailer, yep. I don't think Lady Inquisitor would be in the trailer though, but maybe they'll show off her design somewhere else. I don't remember where, but I'm sure I already saw someone cosplay the Lady Inquisitor, so that would be something they might do again.

Ahh, found it again, here it was. It's from December 2013 so I guess it's old news and not really "official" (which I only just noticed, ah, bummer), but it's the Lady Inquisitor's design nonetheless. Did you already discuss this in this thread?

His Voice was also in a stage demo they did for Pax a while back.  We have not heard *much* of him but I really like what I have heard especially in the two trailers has just been pure awesome really.  Which is why I am anxious to see what the official female voices are, or the official American accent is before the game is released that way I can chose, since oddly enough, my first protgagonist choice could easily come into whose voice sounds the best in the promotional material.  May sound a bit odd but ever since Jennifer Hale introduced me to good voice acting...kidding :P...partially...I try going for the voice that I think sounds the best the first.  So when I got to DA 2, started with Fem Hawke, then I got to listen to Male Hawke and I wish I played him first because he is very good at it...

Yeah I did a double-take when I first heard her Kiwi accent!! :D I'm always SO impressed by actors who can do accents so well you'd have NO idea they spoke differently in real life. Main actor from Walking Dead comes to mind... so talented!

Cass's accent, to me, sounds like Monty Python French. I hope it's toned down a little bit in Inquisition to sound more natural, but hey, I'll love her no matter what. :D

The Qunari, Dwarves, and (DA:O) Elves all have American accents with only humans having a British accent so it will be American 99% of the time for me ^_^

I'm sad that there's still nothing on the Lady Inquisitor, but it could be worse, we could be introduced to her, grow attached to her, and then have to watch her eyes get gouged out and her skull crushed in a horrifyingly realistic and traumatizing manner...

Also known as Quebecois, because Quebecois is actually closer to old (like 14th century) french than Parisian french is. XD

I always took Québécois to be quite 'rough' in comparison to the French we know today.

My offer still stands, Bioware... if you want the ultimate Aussie fem Inquisitor voice!

Are you sure Shepard did gymnastics?

Yes I don't see why soldiers having magic powers or can turn invisible would have a different physique from ones who can't.

I don't think she "literally had the body fit for a model" unless you didn't mean fashion models (who don't usually have "big breasts and ass" either)

I'm not a fan of her look (I'm pear shaped myself). But she really isn't that skinny, she just has really weird forearms, which I would attribute to bad modelling. I know plenty of boxers skinnier than her. Sure she probably should be more defined, but Anderson did say Shep has gotten soft.

You know who was skinny though?

Me1 maleshep. Her legs are probably twice his size.

I swear the **** bsn makes me google

Yes, Shepard does gymnastics. She's a soldier (no matter the class) and she has to do gymnastics for many reasons. It's a rule. Everyone who does gymnastics has at least muscles on them.

Shepard's model had no muscles on her. She looked like an everyday girl that suddenly had bigger breasts and ass than before and if you want a nice body with good arms, look at lady Hawke, her arms are bigger than Shepard's. Or better, Aveline.

Also LOL @ maleshep, he still had muscles. He looked fine, a body fit for a soldier.

Yeah and it's such a strong kiwi accent too and then in character it's completely gone!

I just read in another thread that the VA for Cass combined three different accents to make Cass sound unique so I guess her accent is Nevarren now.  ;)

It's over in the Cass thread in the character discussion subforum on page 101. Also credit goes to Grand Admiral Cheesecake for being the first to suggest that her accent is now officially Nevarren I just liked the idea so much I'm shamelessly promoting it.  :D

Oh, man, same here, and agreed on Andrew Lincoln! Another one that shocked me was Hugh Laurie. I didn't really know anything about him except for loving his character on House, M.D.... then stumbled upon an interview on TV one day and there he was being all British and such. LOL

*sigh* I'm anxious to hear Lady Inquisitor soon. Nice that we'll have two voice sets to choose from. :)

Yes, I wasn't arguing that. I said before you that the class wouldn't make a difference. I'm just not sure you know what gymnastics mean:

The models aren't consistent, it's an even more dramatic change for mshep. Yeah her forearms are reeeeeeally weird, but it's honestly just f-ed up modelling. It doesn't even look human:

Highres_Screenshot_00017.jpg

I dunno why you'd use femhawke as an example, her ****** are waaay larger and she looks like a centerfold girl right down to her ridiculous walk.

and people place far too much emphasis on the upperbody. Look at her's thighs man, she would CRUSH me1 mshep

Those thighs are ridiculous. Her body is ridiculous.

Also by gymnastics i mean the kind of soldiers do.

That's what I mean, I'm pretty sure soldiers don't do gymnastics...

Fitness would be their no.1 priority I imagine. Or by "gymnastics" did you mean those boot camp style things (crawling under barbed wire etc.)

My real big complaint is that I think we're going overboard with trying to make classic villains sympathetic.

Maleficent's allure to me was that she was just plain evil and she enjoyed it. I don't think she works as a tortured anti-hero, especially when she commands the powers of hell. Maybe another villain would have worked better for this but I just can't back them making Maleficent tragic.

Also that quote was pretty gross. Yeah. That's...wow...

This is the last I'll say on it, since it's way off-topic, but there are so very few female anti-heroes in the world.  The few that I can think of (like Catwoman) are part of someone else's story, not the main character.  So that alone makes Maleficent a novelty, because yes, they had to actually revisit a villain to make it happen, but at least for once it is.  If you are personally against that, that is fine, but I really encourage people to give this movie a chance and support something that was written by a woman and led by women because we don't get enough movies like this.

I think all the genders and races should have access to all the options. With, I guess, the minor exceptions of pointy ears and horns.

You should be able to make a human female with Qunari-grey skin and a beard.

Especially genders.  If I can't put proper scars on a female Inquisitor or makeup on a male one, I will be sad.

Makeup! Get makeup over here!

Im missing out, having half nakie Shep wondering around. No biggie, unnecessary anyways to me.

So a femquisitor looking like a model too? Hmmmm... yep just what we need more of, a femquisitor to just be more eye candy.

Not serious there. :)

That was something really weird about ME1, the big awesome scars were restricted to male only and females got like a little nick across the chin or cheek so it wouldn't "mar her beauty" I'm like screw you, I can decide if I want to make her a pretty pretty princess or a rugged, battle scarred warrior on my own, I don't need you arbitrarily restricting me BW.
