I honestly want Bioware to show how much variety you can have with your characters in DA:I. It would be cool if they showed off all races and genders. Though, that might confuse the consumer-base into thinking DA:I is a MMORPG, lol.
Could we please see more of the Lady Inquisitor?

I didn't realize that so many players disliked mHawkes and Lady Hawkes voice. I really love them both, especially sarcastic mHawke and aggressive Lady Hawke.
I also enjoyed the fact that Lady Hawke and the female companions got a unique walking pattern, but I disliked that Aveline, as rather muscular former soldier had the same walking pattern. Her walking pattern at least should have been different from the other women, imo. Possibly a warrior Hawke as well. It'd be nice if we could customize that in the game, if possible.
Ack, E3... I'm so afraid that I'm setting myself up for disappointment by hoping too much that we'll at least see the human Lady Inquisitor or even better, any of the other race options available for her. If Bioware really wanted to get people's attention, the female Tal-Vashoth Inquisitor would be my recommendation. Ugh, trying to lower my expectations.

I actually dont mind their VA myself, and honestly dont mind watching femhawke walk. But I do find her attractive is why.
Female qunari would be better than human female to me.

Yeah, um no, rather not see a malequisitor till after the femquisitor shows. Rather femquisitor take and keep the stage, equal races showing would be nice.
CC would be great to look at.
Yeah I'm not keen on seeing any more of the male Inquisitor. I mean he looks so... oddly... douche-ie, to me anyway! I've said this a few times before. Maybe it's the helmet?? He looks like that protagonist from Watchdogs wearing a Magneto helmet.

I dunno. It's likely I'm judging him a bit unfairly and prematurely, but... I feel like even male Hawke had more OOMPH.
Soooo what I'm really saying is I'm ready for the lady Inquisitor! ![]()

I've never explored the scar options, but I gotta say I've seen some renegade sheps that looked pretty horrific, without much gender discrepancies that I've noticed.

Aiden is instantly recognisable. On the other hand if you did not have Dragon Age written in the corner of the screen shot it could be from any number of generic looking games. Nothing about the character is memorable at all.
While I get why they put a helmet on the character. It's a big mistake when it comes to character recognition.

I agree with you. Though I didnt pay much attention to MC in watch dogs. Reminds me of a different Batman game is why I didn't pay much attention.
Inquisitor helm would look awesome as a Magneto helmet.

I wonder if they did it to purposefully make the character look generic, or maybe they hadn't really finished his look by the time the trailers/screencaps were due to come out? Hence the helmet? Meh.
Aiden doesn't look terribly recognizable to me honestly, but then again I haven't played or heavily followed Watch Dogs. If I squint he very easily blends into the mosaic of other protagonists of his age and look.

That would be my guess.
Go watch any WatchDogs scene and you will. The dedsec emblem on the hat is also a giveaway if you have played the game. Good game by the way, real test of character since you can literally get away with murder.

I've watched about 30 minutes of gameplay yesterday and that's the only reason I can recognize this dude today. Give me a couple weeks or so and he'll fade from my memory. My point is he's hardly eye-catching or memorable to the casual browser... I wish more protags would be!

I want Michael Fassbender, period.
I was never really a fan until Days of Future Past. This particular scene and outfit was a bit drool worthy for me:
Edit: Going back to Aiden for a sec, I'm just not buyin' his uniqueness.
I mean look at these guys:
I recognize Hawke and Shepard because I'm a huge Bioware fan, but yikes. Now many more white male protags can people keep coming up with?

I never said anything about unique I said he was instantly recognisable as the protagonist of Watch Dogs. Where as the Inquisitor in that screenshot could have come from any number of games. My first though on seeing the screenshot was Dragons Dogma 2.

To me someone has to look somewhat unique in order to be instantly recognizable. We'll just have to agree to disagree on this man! ![]()
I may give the game a shot once I get my ps4. Chicago's my home town... would be cool to explore it in a virtual world.

I can't name everyone on that picture either. But I do recognise the ones from games I've played and more importantly (to a publisher) the ones that had massive advertising and TV spots.Even though I don't own GTA IV I recognise the protagonist.

I don't recognise anyone except Shep and Hawke and even Sheploo took a few seconds (Hawke's blood smear stands out there)... oh wait the guy next to Hawke is that the witcher guy Geralt? The rest no clue except that anything featuring them immediately turns me off and I don't even remember seeing any advertising for any of these guys... mind you I would have shut it down almost instantly or used them for a drinks break if they appeared during a show I was watching so maybe that's why.

I read watchdogs is about random white dude and went nah not my thing and haven't bothered seeing anything about it since. I get promotional emails from some game sellers and review sites and hit delete without bothering to even look at him so I couldn't pick him out of a line up if my life depended on it...

I prefer them putting extra effort and resources by making different scars than them literally copy and pasting. The latter seems to have a "Huh, yeah fine whatever. Here you go." disconnected feel to it.
Scars are not a gender defined thing. There was no reason to arbitrarily restrict us. Gender specific animations? Yay great, since men and women have different frames and move differently in real life. Men getting cool customizations while women get "safe" customizations? Hell no. Should male characters in DA:I get large, detailed, expansive face and body tattoos while female characters are restricted to a flower on their ankle? Should male characters get badass, detailed armor that looks functional and protects everything while female characters get thigh slits, cleavage windows, and high heeled boots? Should men have access to a whole range of skin colors while women only get to pick lighter shades? I'd appreciate it if they didn't take "extra effort" to deny my female characters access to awesome things male character get for no reason.
I've never explored the scar options, but I gotta say I've seen some renegade sheps that looked pretty horrific, without much gender discrepancies that I've noticed.
In ME1 there were normal scar options that they took away in later games (not related to renegade/paragon)
Do all white guys look the same to you all?

"White" isn't the only thing they have in common. Dark hair, stubble, same face shape, bulky and muscular.
They may not be identical, but many of them could easily be brothers.
