Yeah, saw that post. Made me roll my eyes so hard I almost saw my brain cells dying. Thankfully it was only one poster.

It's so annoying when some guys do that has only been 1 trailer while male has 3 or 4 i think & will likely continue to get promoted alot after E3. They have no f**king right to b*tch about it

Okay, when I said I would be happy with just finding out about AWR? This is amazing. Usually when I make a character in a video game, I have to choose between giving her my gender or my height. None of them have ever really felt like 'me'. I mean, y'know, tall people aren't an oppressed minority or anything, but...this feels nice. Thanks.

I can play elves just fine got tired of my PC looking like she wanted to break her neck as a dwarf though.

I think the whole E3 presentation was really balanced. It didn't make the Lady Inquisitor seem like an afterthought. Which I found really pleasing. I also liked the way the focus on the team wasn't overly male-focused either. All around it was just a really balanced showing. It's great. Seeing the E3 stuff made me feel like BioWare really heard the things we've been saying in this thread, respecting it, and acknowledging it. I liked that there's not a real set "face" of the Inquisitor, either. Most shots were as gender neutral as the box art, which is okay by me.

I'm not excited about the CC myself.

 

I used to love this feature in RPGs, but I'm telling you... I'm OCD or something. Literally can waste a whole day perfecting a face. Screw that. lol. Default Hawke was a godsend.

lol I guess I'm lucky I go screw it when I get close enough to want and spend repeat playthroughs perfecting it. XD

 

I tend to dislike the defaults XD only time I really bothered with it was with dude Shep in ME3 when I couldn't take how badly it screwed up my dude's face and couldn't be bothered fixing it.

Okay if I can get a makeupless face on her then I will be playing as a female qunari now, funny how things like height and horns will change my mind on something I didn't plan on touching before

It's pathetic really. I'll start writing down the number of clicks I make on a "slider" just to remember adjustments I liked.. then rinse/repeat.. launching the game, observing the character under different lighting.. then deleting and trying again. It's madness.

 

XD I'd go crazy if I did that. (though I did restart ME2 about five times before I went screw it. Curse that damn intro sequence. Curse it to hell then spit on it for good measure).

Anyways, to tie this to the topic, I'm more curious what their default faces are. The "iconic" ones, if you will. Male and female. I plan on playing both, but hope they look cool. I'm not up for spending hours in the CC. Skyrim is the last game I did that in.

*shudders* Skyrim's CC unmodded was just. *shudders* BW hasn't been that bad thankfully. I actually started skyrim up looked at that CC went LOL NO closed the game and waited for the face/hair/skin mods.

 

And yeah I don't mind if the iconic look attractive or not since I'm not most likely not gonna use them anyway XD but man New Vegas and Skyrim's vanilla CC's still give me the shudders.

I've been bracing myself for disappointment for so long, it's actually startling to have them come through for us like this.  Lady Inquisitor today, possibly Lady Qunquisitor tomorrow?  And Lady Qunquisitor with horns who is an actual giant?  Is it Christmas?

 

I don't know whether this thread specifically had any impact or if this is something they've been planning for a while, but either way, thank you Bioware!

Is it just me or does it look like there's some paint on that qunari's face? Like light gold paint maybe war paint or a tattoo.
