Is that the main appeal of the Qunari, you think?
I've been trying to figure out why so many posters want to play one. (Not that there's anything wrong with it.. I just didn't know it was on anyone's mind).
I wonder if they'll move faster. Sometimes larger characters have longer strides, and technically move faster (even if it may not seem so). Like High Elves in Skyrim are the fastest, for example.
Qunari was not my first racial choice, although the idea of horns delighted me. But the more I thought about the idea of playing a female character who is huge and strong, the more I fell in love with it.
At one of the PAX panels last year, somebody asked that very question, like whether it would mean dwarves would have to race to keep up with your party. Somebody suggested that dwarves can ride into battle on the qunari's horns.
Is it just me or does it look like there's some paint on that qunari's face? Like light gold paint maybe war paint or a tattoo.
No, it definitely does. It seems similar to the tattoo options in the other DA games, but maybe more shiny? I often choose a gold tone tattoo, so it looks like that to me.
Clearer picture from the Dorian thread

Most better than the fuzz version XD
I love how her lips are so plump.
I love that you can clearly see the protruding horns on her forehead! It's not delicate and covered up like all the female qunari comic/concept art we've seen thus far. They didn't sacrifice racial qualities for the sake of making her more feminine.
