I am SO happy right now.
Honestly, I wasn't that interested in the game before but now, after hearing and seeing our lady, I am so ready for this!

OK.. Can you explain why?

Not trying to be rude. Just wondering what makes someone a fan of Lady Qunari so much, but isn't as enticed by the world of DA itself.

Not being treated as an afterthought can be a powerful thing :D

These look really fake to me, this is what I didn't want to have to look like :?

tumblr_mb0x32Dnbv1qzltygo1_500_zpsbb5c21

She wouldn't have breasts like that unless she was fat all around like:

http://img.photobuck...zps81810e44.jpg

or they were implants

Hey, maybe it's like...at an odd angle and she can't see it? Maybe she's nearsighted and the inquisitor is the only thing she can see? :P

Just strikes me as a weird angle (though they are a bit too oval but I just took that as a bad angle). Her breasts do not strike me as big as the woman in the picture. She does suffer from BW toothpick arm syndrome though. Especially not in comparison to Isabela's breasts and Isabela is not that much thicker than she is. Dunno maybe I'm numb to it? I don't mind my PC having large breasts as long as it's not laughably big and those don't strike me as close to laughably big status.

LOL maybe.

Clearer picture from the Dorian thread

Bpu0wz1IgAExq7w.jpg

Most better than the fuzz version XD

I love how her lips are so plump.

Oh my god. OH MY GOD.

I'm late to the party, I've been stuck at work and only just now back. AHHH!!!! I LOVE THIS SHOT!! I can't wait to see more!! Oh my god!!

I'm thinking my Qunari playthrough will have to be with the American accent, if that ends up sounding a little gruffer.

I can't wait to hear it!! Ahhh!!! I am so happy!!

I love Bioware!! :D

I agree, it is awesome but it does tend to get disheartening when you're ignored and swept under the rug. You think "do I matter at all to them? Will this game even have anything that interests me or will it be geared towards dudes only?" :crying:

LOL maybe.

Look at how cut her muscle is though, the only fat she has on her entire body are two large, unnaturally round breasts. Anyways I'm just glad/relieved I'm not forced to look like that  (I'd probably end up playing male Qunari only) Anyway I'm cool with the Humans having a bikini model body like they did in DA2 but I just wanted some variety :wizard:

No problem. I guess I have to explain what I actually wanted to say with my post. I AM interested in the world of DA itself. It's just that all the advertising before didn't get me hyped. I wanted to see more of lady inquisitor. I wanted to see something different, something besides all the trailers focusing on the "male hero" we always get to see. That's why the latest trailer got me hyped.

God I know that feel. D:

True Isabela is more fair in that scenario it just really doesn't strike me as that pornstarish but I do have a high tolerance threshold. Fair enough :) her body seems fine anyway. Doesn't look too wide from the back and I can work with that. If it really bothers me I can just go human or elf XD

Well I'm over here sad with you but if people lucked out on the body model they wanted them's just the breaks.

There's always elves and humans XD

I sympathize. From my perspective though (and I'm a guy), I actually feel like DA games already have a feminine bent to them myself. Not in the marketing, but the general feel of the games. Enough that I'm comfortable playing female protagonists. As far as I'm concerned, the marketing images just get in the way. Don't let them bring you down too much. It's all bullsh*t.

Hey you said you were making a Toph like dalish no?

I'll just stick with female humans and male ones....wouldn't be the first game I stuck to one playable race.

Edit: Can you really blame Nefla for being happy FemQunari isn't a tall curvy human with horns? I understand the desire.

Just to elaborate on what I mean a little bit.

I think the human noble and Dalish origins work better with a female, for example. Even despite the marketing. I can't help but think they were written more with females in mind. Fergus is the gruff male sibling going out to battle, while you're "pup" who is being protected a bit. The interactions with your parents is more sweet rather than tasteless and playful, like Fergus speaks. And the connection is much better with Alistair later on, imo. As far as I'm concerned, he sucks as a male "bro" type. I think they failed there. He's no Garrus or Varric. But he is a good romance option.

Same with Dalish. Works so much better.. and tragically, with a female and Tamlen. Hell, same with the Magi Origin. Sweeney calls you "angelic", no matter what. And then there's extra content with Cullen. That, and robes look stupid on males. Females get a fancier design ;)

Yeah, how could I forget.

The only one I think works much better with male is Dwarf noble. I like female Dwarf commoner though.

Oh I totally agree, it's just that the trailers and demos and screenshots were fresher in my mind and said "males are what's important, but you can play too...I guess." Them making the PC into a generic white guy with stubble was pretty off-putting and this generic guy did not get me excited about the game. It's like having Ben Stein narrate a battle.

DAO's trailers were...something (Especially with that This is War song. Oi vey). Thankfully I followed the release and got that awesome FemCE poster so I was pretty pumped. Then I played male HN first (to get it out of the way) and playing female made it so much...better.

Alistair is pretty bleh when you're male though. Morrigan at least is fairly interesting regardless of gender.

Same goes for Hawke imo. I feel like it's one 7 year long "Lady's Night Out" lol.

In my playthrough, it's Diplo Lady Hawke, Aggressive Aveline, and Cocky Isabela as the main ladies.

I see the appeal of the trailer Hawke too, but he's a filthy blood mage.. so to hell with him anyhow. I just don't care to play like that.

I played an aggressive bloodmage Hawke...he hated most of the party and would've killed them if he could.

I like male English accent Inquisitor's voice well enough from what we've heard thus far, but I hope his sassy/sarcasm levels can hold their own against Hawke's! Hehe.

Really? Eh to each their own, to me he always sounded really ticked off all the time even when he was suppose to be being nice. His voice sounded great for aggressive Hawke but anything else he sounded like he was going through anger management and was a hair away from snapping whenever he opened his mouth.
