I'm so happy that not only are the devs glad for the cupcakes, many of them have read and responded to our letters thanking them for including the female Inquisitor in their marketing. I think a lot of them are really touched by how grateful we are. That means so much.

So, it's how many months since this thread was started - how's that Lady Inquisitor coming along?
We had a group of us send edible thank you's to Bioware for having the female inquisitor being part of the marketing. 
So, it should be seen on the main Dragon Age page as well.

I'm not sure unfortunately. There were a lot, and after about 15 minutes there was still probably 1/3 left, so I think anyone who was "oh yes I must have one" got one. They are all gone now, but honestly the sentiment is worth more than the cupcakes specifically. That you organized it at all made some people's day (or week 
) for sure!

That is adorable Yes, I like Lady Nuggins name as well. Its cute. I would want to name a nug the same way, well.... maybe Lord Nuggins if it happened to been a male, less it tells me it wants to be referred as Lady too. uhm... I might have to back away a little bit if a nug spoke english to me, to make sure I hadnt lost my mind.

Yes, I don't mind myself. Bioware all together is my favorite number one game developer. Mass Effect (which its a DA thread, prefer not talking about ME here) represented females and LGBT as well. (sorry if I did) Think I missed a letter there. It was especially a thanks for femquisitor but also a thanks in general all over the board from me.

Yeah, I had the impression you people are having a really rough week. Glad we could brighten a dark time for you.
My personal letter wasn't touching and sentimental like most of them--I had tried to write some things to that effect but they got way too lengthy (I have issues with being concise). But I'll say here that all the stuff that you men and women do to make people feel more welcome and included, really does make a difference. Because isn't entertainment about, well, entertaining and making people feel better, when it doesn't make them reexamine themselves? So even though I've had some downs with BioWare (yeah, I wasn't a big fan of the ending of ME3 AT ALL), doing things like actually including women, PoC, and LGBT folk makes up for a lot.
One thing I can be sure of is that not only can I be a woman AND a hero at the same time in BioWare games, but my lady hero will be treated with the same respect as her male counterpart. She won't be given ridiculous "armor" that's only there to show off her assets, her stats won't be weaker, she won't be relegated by default to the support classes. She gets to be an actual honest-to-goodness hero, a leader, regardless what role in combat or what game-world political opinions she may hold.

There haven't been any new trailers or screens since then, but we anticipate more in the upcoming gaming events leading up to October. I'm sure they won't hold out on us and hide the Lady Inquisitor behind a curtain! Hopefully we also get to see more of the male Inquisitors to keep things balanced.
I hope in the actual game the characters look a bit more... robust than they do in the stills/trailers. Some of them have limbs that look like they'd snap if you sneezed on them, and in a few stills they look like their bones are all disconnected or facing in the wrong direction. Very offputting!
Actually, hard to say on that, I seen people in real life with arms so thin, I cant believe they have any muscle to lift a pen. My cousin, who has very low width in arms, punches like was running face first into a brick wall. She hit me once accidentally while playing, not sure I want to feel a hit from her when its on purpose.
