I'd also like to see pictures of her on the main site in the media section and anywhere else actually as whatever race and class combo... actually you know what more pictures would be good anywhere.

D'aww, thanks.  Hero is fine by me.  I appreciate the compliment.  When I saw that pic (I didn't make it,) I thought it was perfect.  Plus, it helps I love the character.

Thanks. And yeah, while I love both female VAs and will use both, Sumalee Montano will be my first voice and my more use one. Loved her voice ever since Arcee in Transformers: Prime. 

 

On a side note, Arcee will be the name and basis for my first character: a female Qunari Rogue.

I couldn't a lot of women characters that fit, but my Lady Cadash is going to take a lot of her cues from Vash the Stampede, with a bit of Meryl for that right bit of caustic flavor.     I keep bouncing around about the name though.

I vote elven, if only so that we can also get a glimpse of the Dalish tatoos this time around. Plus I want to see if we're able to have proper elven ears this time around.

Ear options FTW!!! Part of me's doubting that would happen... same as Qunari horn lengths. Would be freaking awesome, though. You can bet my elven lady's ears would be enormous!

It would be nice if they did!   I'm really looking forward to the character creator too, there are so many things I want to know about like tattoos, scar options, horn options and elf ears. Oh and hair colours, hair styles, eye colours, skin tones and how they look in frostbite and... well pretty much everything to do with making my character and we haven't even gotten to the skills, classes and whatever else goes into Character Creation after I find a look I'm happy with.

They didn't have any plans for a separate release last time somebody asked (during the Raptr Q&A, I think) but I'm hoping the sad panda faces we keep making at them might sway somebody. Assuming, of course, that anyone has time to make it run on its own. I have no idea who would be responsible or what else they might be doing at the moment. I loved playing with the Character Creator before DAO and would love to see it again, though, if only so I could get my dwarf right before installing and not have to spend my first three hours with the game fiddling with eyebrow sliders.

 

Failing that, a Character Creation trailer showing all the options would be fabulous.

Or a demo showing it off would work too... say the length of the post E3 trailers. It could be split in two one for the male options and one for the female options. ;)Yeah I know that's probably wishful thinking but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway. 

 

Though I think in the Q & A they were talking about the fact they were still making and trying different options (hairstyles) so I think it will still be a month or so until we see it. Hopefully they get a lot of cool options in there and working though.

It can actually be a good chunk of work to separate something like that out in a clean way sometimes, unfortunately.

 

I wouldn't expect it.  I'm pretty sure it'd not really be worth the effort, unfortunately :\

I did kind of think this would be the case but it's good to know. Any chance of a trailer or demo of the character creator then, if you know/can answer?

I know Mike would like to show it off for sure.  I can't say if it will or will not happen unfortunately, but I think it's a pretty big "beat" for our games and why people like playing them, especially with player races returning.

I really hope the elf ears are better then they were in Origins, sucked that my elven warden was the only elf who ears didn't stick out (at least when unmodded)

I haven't had time to catch up on the conversation in this topic yet, but can I just say how proud and happy I am that Bioware released the gameplay demo with the Qunari female Inquisitor? I wrote earlier in this topic that the male Inquisitor got the most appealing trailers (especially some that centered around him, not just the companions). "His" trailers also had the most views on Bioware's youtube channel. This demo though, is likely to be the most linked-to and discussed gameplay demo since the audio is clear and the picture quality superior to the streamed, shortened versions from E3. It's just really, really awesome to see this happen!

Elf would definitely be my choice, since that's the one race we haven't seen yet.  If she were POC, all the better!

But they confirmed last year that we'd have multiple options for the qunari horns.  Or do you mean being able to adjust a preset horn to various lengths?
