...it's weird but at first glance, I thought it was a male inquisitor, not female.
I did too, to be honest - she is a bit adrogynous looking, though the picture is obviously not the best. Regardless, its cool to see another version of our female protagonist. And again, love the hair! It looks like the hairstyles got a bit more modern and edgy this time for the girls, which makes me happy.
Re: the marketing. It does seem that a lot of the demos and tweets seem to focus on a female Inquisitor (which is great), while the trailers -which the more casual and potential new fans will see, are almost all male - with the one featuring a female being more about the companions than about her - we don't even see a close-up of her helmeted face or much of her at all. I believe the shots of what I assume is the Inquisitor on the official site (under classes) are all male as well. It would be nice if it were more an even mix.
Edit: And then, what? Minutes after this post, female Inquisitors are up on the official site. Neat! And a bit weird...
