Legends of the Amazons likely came from the Scythians, whose women fought as horse archers, and were required to kill one man before they could lose their virginity.
That... is awesome. Can that please be a video game? ![]()

Enough with the lady inqusitor already. I think Bioware has overdone it. Most gameplay or demos are with Fem Inqusitor. Really hope they show Male Elf next and not a female one.
In terms of gameplay videos I too would like to see a male elf or human, hopefully unique looking ones that can show off the CC!
I do feel like we're still missing a lady Inquisitor trailor (actually seeing her rather than hearing her voice).
I once saw a dragon riding on a Dragonborn.
Videos, man. They help a good deal.
It's not that improbable. I used to work out with one of my schoolmates a couple of years ago, he weighted 123lbs and could bench 220lbs, more than most guys bigger than him. I'm a 140lbs woman and squat 265lbs. I can piggyback my father. I got my ass handed to me by a 130lbs woman when I started fighting, even if her lifts were way weaker than mine. While mass helps, raw strength isn't directly proportional to it.

It was roughly 50/50 if I recall correctly. Two female trailers and three male trailers, and two gameplay videos for each gender. Hardly overdone. I'd like to see more dwarves though, whether they're male or female.
Being a civilian shouldn't be treated as a flaw to be fixed. Characters shouldn't need to be able to fight to be empowered
I agree, characters don't have to fight to be empowered. Chell is an example of a character, who is empowered not because she fights GLaDOS but because she uses her wits and skills to make her way through the testing facility.
It's just that the damsel in distress trope is so overused at the moment, it would be nice to see even the smallest change, like a female protagonist rescuing a man.

It's never enough for Inquisitrix. ![]()

So far its been pretty much an even split between the male and female Inquisitor, which is far from overdone considering for most games all the trailers would feature just the male protagonist.
Having said that I'd like to see more races in future videos. So far we've had Qunari and Humans, so it would be nice to see a Dwarf or an Elf.
That's right BioWare, I'm never satisfied MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA ![]()
like a female protagonist rescuing a man.
I'd like to see that, too.
Transistor has it - which is the only reason I picked the game up (it's lovely, I just don't normally like isometric views). Your female protagonist has to rescue this guy, whose soul or something is trapped in her enormous sword... And he constantly speaks to her out of the sword with this sexy as hell voice, guiding her or explaining things or what have you. I haven't finished the game so I'm not sure what precisely the story is, but that aspect of it is fantastic. I'd like to see this in more types of games.
Like Master Chief with the sexy robot woman in his helmet. I want that, in reverse. ![]()

Femshep can save Kaidan's butt a couple of times in ME. Hawke can save Carver. A city elf can rescue herself and turn a noble mansion into a slaughterhouse pretty much on her own. Bioware has been good at this, have to say ![]()

That's the benefit of letting players choose the gender of their protagonist.
With the exception of the city elf origin, you have to write the story the same way for both genders which means that male protagonists have a similar story to what they always have but female protagonists get to do things that they would never normally be able to do in a game, like rescue a male character, lead the party and sleep with a sexy pirate ![]()

This thread is all about the female Inquisitor. The more that is shown of her, the better. If anything, I would like to see a female Dwarf Inquisitor shown in a trailer or gameplay

By the way, would you be kind enough to point me to the female inquisitor video trailers? I only ever saw the male ones, and while those are nice, I haven't yet seen the female ones.

Pretty sure this is the only Femquisitor trailer
Wow...looks like I went to bed at the right time! What a bunch of garbage!
There are two trailers with a Female Inquisitor? I only remember one which to be honest was focusing more on the companions. Wheres the other Female Inquisitor trailer? I'd really like to see it.

Oh yes.
Thank you for reminding me. Mmmm, Kaidan... Man I really did love the ME series.

Same , the trailer above show mostly your companions . And you only see Lady Inquist at the end and from afar...can't tell if it is a women at all .

Yeah, not really a inquisitrix trailer.
So you're saying me there's no chance in hell a person ( male or female ) would sleep with the hero that saved him/her from death?
People nowadays sleep with randoms they picked up in clubs, but somehow you find it weird the above happens?
Hell, Isabella sleeps with you in Origins just because you beat her at a card game, but you conveniently ignore that just so you have something witty to retort with.
If it was just one or two characters I'd agree. The problem is that throughout the series there are literally hordes of female characters who, to borrow a phrase from Oghren, throw themselves at Geralt feet first. And all of that with Geralt barely even engaging in conversation.
It is as shallow and unrealistic as Skyrim's marriages, except with fully animated sex scenes featuring lots of female nudity. As much as I appreciate that Geralt always keeps his pants on or is shot from the waist up, those that claim the Witcher's sex scenes are largely gratuitous fanservice for males have a point.
There are a lot of things that CD Projekt Red does better than Bioware. Romance isn't one of them.
I kind of feel sorry for the straight women who get to play this game and don't see some Geralt butt but instead some women butts and bewbs. Those who like him, that is.

I never said anything about fighting or civilians being flaws. Survival and defense does not have to have anything to do with combat.

So far, there hasn't been much in the way of romance in the games. It's mostly casual sex and a complicated interaction with Triss. Relationships in The Witcher are messy, people have conflicting motivations. For a lot of gamers, Bioware's romances are too tidy, and to me they actually come off as more of a conquest than they do in TW2.TW1 is a different story, I'll agree they went overboard with Geralt as rockstar, screwing everything that moves. As for women wanting to see more of Geralt, it's been brought up and I guess it's a fair point.
I don't know if it,s ok to post this here , but with the 'want' to see a female Dwarf inquisitor...was wondering . Have you guys seen this yet ? ![]()
