Yes! I am happy. I think that it's much improved from DA2's marketing. Here's what I've seen: the gameplay showings at the gaming conferences. A fairly equal showing in the gaming mags I've looked it. The headers on the website. The improvements to the website. The screenies on twitter. The funny vids with the VAs. The focus on female companions, too.
All of those things, yes. Not to mention the even 6 ladies/6 dudes split of DAMP characters, and the diverse spread of roles for the ladies as well. Warrior, tank, assassin, hunter, necromancer, healer, alchemist (SCIENCE!). Each one also has really great armor on (in their tarot cards and what has been seen in DAMP videos so far). Very awesome.
This media hype push from E3 onward has helped me be even more invested and excited for the game. And less tied in knots over BioWare's marketing as I have been with games past. That's a good thing. There were some days I felt really crappy because of the past marketing.
My only complaint so far is that I don't care for the Ladyquisitor's walk/run animations. They are improved over DA2's Lady Hawke, but still too much with the flaily t-rex arms and odd wiggle for me. Though it's saying a lot that I only have one complaint in regards to lady protagonist, marketing, inclusion, importance, parity, portrayal, etc. this time around.
