Argh......Xena is 5'9''!!! ARGHHH! GIMMEEEEEEEE THAT HEIGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would give my 1st born to be taller  and that is a joke lol But it suck . Well it sucked for me to be the only shrimp in the family lol I mean everyone is around 6feet save for me and my Grand Ma (may she rest in peace) . She even shorter then me  4'10'' lol but I loved her dearly . I'm 5'3'' (Tiger don't you dare laugh!) .

So yeah I'm making a giant Female Qunari Mage that gonna smooche sera :D At least I can have my long legs in games lol

I even met alot of womens who aren't in sport and God they are tall ! So that make me wonder : Where these guys getting their stats ??

My wife is 5'0. Feel better? :) My niece is almost my height and she is only 13!

I never saw Liara dance either, in any game, with male or female shepard.

The Features - Combat trailer did show a whole heap of different Inquisitors (all in default armour), is that the kind of thing people would like to see more of?

I don't think nearly enough has been said about the multiplayer characters.  Now that they've all been released, it appears that they're roughly equal between male and female.

Exactly equal. Well, assuming I heard right that the Assassin is female. It's also equal inside of each class, two for each.

I'm sure some folks, if not all, have a name for their femquisitor, how she will act and have an idea of the decisions she will make in the game for their first playthrough.

So I like to ask a few questions

1) If you were a companion, what class would you be?

2) Would you want to romance your femquisitor?

3) Would you support her with all decisions she makes?

4) What would you do if she makes a decision you don't agree with?

5) As a companion, would you be jealous if she were to romance someone else instead of you?

6) If you were to see your femquisitor today, 2014, what would you say to her?

For my answers

Elizabeth Nancy Trevelyan - mage

1) rogue who specializes in daggers and bows

2) I like to, but it would never happen. She likes females and I'm a male

3) I'm sure I would support her on most decisions

4) I would take her aside and ask her why. I would point  out any repercussions that may happen and leave it at that.

5) No. As i said, I'm a male. I would just consider her a friend

6) Excuse me ma'am, I don't mean to sound out of place, but you look like a character that I created in a video game.

Oh this looks fun! I made a thread before that is quite similar to question one actually :D

Valeria Cadash Warrior

1) Rogue dual wielding daggers

2) Yes I would though I don't think I'd be her type

3) No I couldn't, most of them probably but not all.

4) Depends of the decision being made to be honest. Something small be annoyed and shrug it off, something big probably get into a childish debate about it for days at a time.

5) Maybe for a short while but I'm quick to get over stuff like that :D

6) Let me hug you! Let me hug you! Gah you're too adorable let me hug you damnit!

I have to relook up her name I cant think of it right now, Qunari mage.

Id be a rogue.

She wouldn't be interested in me.

I would support her in everything, she would be my friend.

I would say my disagreement but go along with her.

I cant see me and her romancing since she is into women, so no.

Oh wow, Hi!   I didn't know Qunari actually existed! I'd love to hear more about you if you wont mind sharing. :D

EDIT to add:

Still waiting to see a female dwarf.  Hopefully can show her in a trailer since she hasn't appeared anywhere yet.

Anyone know if we are going to get another trailer by the way? I still really want another trailer with the female inquisitor really badly :( And again darker skin tones I know we got a tiny peek in the small amount of the demo that showed the CC of them but I want more I want to see the inquisitor moving around with the different lighting with a darker skin tone I want this so badly especially since most of my Inquisitors are going to be of darker tone and also as a side note if I can make one even closely resembling a darker Native American tone I will be the happiest person on the planet cause I've been trying and dying to get that type of look on my PCs forever now.

How is it not related to the femquisitor if I'm asking questions about her?

You aren't asking questions about her, you're asking people about how they would hypothetically relate to their made up Inquisitor if they were in the game. This isn't even a character thread, strictly speaking it is about the female Inquisitor's representation in marketing.

Anyone know if we are going to get another trailer by the way?

I would expect at least a launch trailer, in the style of Enemy of Thedas. There might be more feature documentaries between now and launch.

I doubt we'll see much of different possible Inquisitors unless they do a customisation feature.

That being the case, then half of this thread shouldn't exist.

2) But, but, she's a qunari, and I'm Dalish - can love overcome such obstacles?

3) In public, probably.  As long as she's compassionate.

4) Challenge her on it, if I thought she was making a mistake.  Friends do that.

5) No.  Sera and I would be happy for them.

6) Let me grab the antibiotics and a bunch of silk to sell, and take me back with you!!

I think we need a general Lady Inquisitor Discussion thread in Story, Campaign, And Characters so that the more off-topic posts can go there.  This should be a thread about representation and conversations relevant to that representation (i.e. how it is handled), and instead everything but that is being discussed.  I don't mind the discussion, but it's still off topic for a feedback and suggestions thread.

Memes/questionnaires/screenshots/art about individual Lady Inquisitors should go in SC&C, if they don't pertain to how marketing is handling representation/challenging the idea of Default Male McScruffy as the default character.  Something like default names would be relevant, if we knew them.

Not trying to be mean here.  Just stay on topic, or else refrain from posting in this particular thread.

I had suggested that quite some time ago Brass_Buckles, but I don't think anyone heard me.

I would see it similar to the femShep thread in the ME forums.

Well the gameplay feature video on combat on the official website always felt like it's meant to be the first in a series about either gameplay or combat (not entirely clear on which atm but anyway) so I think we might see another feature doc like that at least. Hopefully they do one on the cc that shows off our options a little more and maybe crafting would be nice too.

For a trailer I hope we get either one with lady inquisitor kicking butt, and being as badass as male inquisitor in some of the early trailers he featured in or something that shows both off as equals... like either way you're the inquisitor and you're the hero (anti-hero) regardless of gender... neither is default, either is equally valid, both are totally awesome, have fun however you play!  B)

Like this.

Interesting to note that Alix Wilton Reagan has had two videos about her voicing the Inquisitor, while the other three voice actors haven't had any.

The only thing I'm curious about at this point is, the hairstyle for femquisitor. I like to see long(er) hair for her.

Same here. I don't want the hero to be weak all the time but I don't want them to be infallible either, I want them strong but with human weakness. I get bored if I am playing a god-like Mary Sue who is so much better at combat than everyone else that no one would ever have to worry about them. Fighting some drunk mercenaries in a bar? No need for the LI to worry. Going into a dark, endless cave alone to fight a huge monster that has killed everyone who has dared cross its' path? Some loving concern would not be out of place. I want to see the PC fail at times, worry at times, be sick with grief at times and not just a paragon of strength and confidence.

You might like Nillian of Remember Me then she's a great character she actually has two sides to her the game face she potrays in game is usually a cool girl she hides her feelings but between levels is where you get to be in her mind and see all the doubts and fears she has about what she did or what she's going to do next. The gameplay though feels like batman Arkum asylum in look and players who've played that game claim its pretty much the same (I never played BM) but she's a great character in a game that has promise but ends up OK overall.

Beyond two Souls also has a great character in Jodi she's extreamly multi dimensinal and though the game gets critisized widly for her crying alot she cries because the moements are painful for her and ergo are proper and in place she isn't breaking down because she chipped a nail she's breakingdown because she's losing her only family or such. She shows extream range strength, detrmination, fear, hearbreak, her life and those relations in her life are complicated.

I never said that the protagonist shouldn't have weakness, and shouldn't be worried over.  I actually said I like the idea of the Inquisitor (or other protagonist) being the source of concern.  What I don't like is the idea that a female protagonist somehow "needs" protection.  You have an entire squad/party watching your back most of the time after all.  And I repeat, the whole overprotective attitude thing often gives me creepy "possessiveness" vibes... as though women are items to be protected, rather than people who can make their own decisions, even if their boyfriends/husbands/lovers/fathers/etc. might not necessarily agree with or like those decisions.  A man can be worried about a woman and still respect her decisions, and vice versa.  And yet you didn't see Morrigan refusing to let the male Warden take the final blow against the Archdemon...

I guess it's just a peeve of mine that the number one thing a male romantic interest tends to say is that he'll protect the female character.  It's not that I don't want him to watch her back, I repeat, it's that she is capable already, and has an entire group of people looking out for her.  And it implies that he would NOT have looked out for her before the relationship, too--was she not worth looking out for before?  Did you ignore her when she was in danger...?  No?  Okay then...  And yes, your romantic interest will probably concern you more, but your dear friend should mean something to you as well...

I agree here too it can be annoying that the male outright stops me because I"m his LI where as if I want to stop my male LI from charging into danger I can't if he's with me I'd have to diliberitly leave him behind. I don't think an add prompt (like press RB) to stop him is the solution it's just an annoyance I need his protection but he doesn't need mine?

However I don't mind him showing a bit of concern like I'm going to go undertake this huge fight him saying becareful if I lose you I'll die too or I want you to come back alive or something is fine like Tali towards LIshep in Leviathan that was cute she wasn't stopping him wan't question his ability to really do crazy things its just a very simple I love you and it translates into I'm concerned though I still trust you and I'm reasonably sure you aren't going to do anymore craziness while you're diving but please just remember I'm here and come back to me in one peice. Or how Garrus and Fshep were in ME3 it was a give and take it was both could worry about each other both could respect each other's capabilities and decisions and both would trust each other to tell the truth even if it was bad or could hurt their moral. As opposed to wait you can't do this your my LI hero! Which then I have to say get out of my way I'm doing this. They become a roadblock instead of encouragement.

Another becareful hero moment I like is simply how they handle most of those moments in Beyond two Souls depending on the level of danger some characters encourage her or warn her very simply its not over dramatic her (potential) LI in the army for instance doesn't stop her from doing her job he just wishes her goodluck but the moment before she jumps out of the plane is enough he knows she has a duty and both are prepared for a bad end. The same when they link up later in another mission he does try to reason with her but not because she's a woman or she can't do it its because of the unknown he goes with her because he loves her and can't just let her go it alone with no backup he wants to be the backup not let someone else do it he doesn't want to be her roadblock he wants to be her helper if she needs him.

But more onto topic as I've been off it the last few posts. When they do the packaging for the game I'd really like them to state on the back cover very clearly you can choose your inquisitioner's gender, species, and customize their looks, armor, and swords this way its stating how players have a customization control not just in what the hero says but in all other aspects too. Maybe even show both male and female heros of the same species (even if you pick human for the defult look) this way it shows clearly you can pick!

Also will the defult character that comes up when choosing your hero be male? Or will you make the first gender you see female and the players have to pick male? I'd prefer the latter this way if you didn't read the backcover you can't miss her as a playable hero!

Ugh...the Beyond two Souls romances were terrible IMO, i really didn't understand why Jodi would even be on friendly terms with Ryan since he spends alot of the game treating her like crap, then has dinner with her for the sole intention of sleeping with her & if she has the panic attack from her memory of nearly getting gang raped he just leaves her to cry alone :?
