and Tattooooooooooooooo!
Ugh, don't remind me. Still can't believe we are forced to have one if we are to play as an elf. ![]()
Aww you not like Tattoo? Well they said you can change the color and make it look very transparent..so invisible like . But Tattooooos !

I know what they said. The guy who posted that picture also posted one of a Male Elf whose tattoos are the 'invisible' equivalent. I still clearly see them.
I agree this thread is full of women who are upset they don't get more female protagonists
And thats understandable but they also think that because of men getting more that they (males) should be discarded and take the back seat
I actually wanted more female leads (loved Tomb Raider) in games, tv shows etc. but after reading some butthurt posts I hope it stays the way it is
I'm a white male and would like to see more of the female Inquisitor especially the female Dwarf Inquisitor.
Why don't you create a thread about wanting to see more of the male Inquisitor instead of coming on this thread, that's for the female Inquisitor, complaining about folks wanting to see more of the female Inquisitor?

I just saw it on Twitter! I can't believe how nice she looks. Dem freckles!
There's going to be a veritable army of freckled Inquisitors, I can see it now.

Would it look good on a female Qunari though ?

I like the freckles and the tattoo. :3
Same one we saw in the last elfquisitor screen though, would like to see some new ones.
I don't feel hated, just in case anyone was worrying about my feelings.
It's... okay, I just dug it up and took pictures because words can't describe how bad this is. Sorry some of these got flipped around when I uploaded them, but I think they make their point.
Yeah, that's the Isabella from the decidedly mediocre Destiny Trailer (2:00ish) which was made by a third party* - Blur I think. They used that Isabella in a few promotional images at the time as well. Not that that changes anything, or absolves BioWare of responsibility, but it may explain it.
*Though the model might be from elsewhere, because business is funny like that.
(edit) Well, I think it is the same one. I'm not completely sure.
It certainly is.@Bugsie:
This is offtopic, but is your avatar Faridah Malik from Dues Ex: Human Revolution?
If freckles are an option to have, I most likely will have them for my femquisitor
It certainly is.
Great game, wish I had more time for another stealth run.
@Kallen, where is that image from? (The fem elf that is)
In regard to people in this thread supposedly wanting to see male PC's discarded. I call hooey. I am very keen to have a male playthrough for inquisition as I am to see other fixed male characters return in other game series, but I love seeing women front and centre, something that has been missing in my 35+ years of playing games.
My favorite character in the entire franchise by far. And I don't expect the upcoming trilogy to change that, especially if she is in it since they are sequels.
I actually have that game slated as a possible first game for my gaming channel.
The picture is from the Twitter thread, An employee at Bioware made a couple Elven Inquisitors to show us.

Me too! Since I'm going for an archer for my first Inquisitor, I imagine that she hasn't shied away from the daylight. I picture her pretty tan with freckles.

I read stuff like that and I think it's just getting adorable when I hear things like, "Girls don't play real games!" Ignoring the fact that the Facebook type games are as much of a real game as Tetris, there can be an assumption by a (thankfully) diminishing number of posters that women don't play games like CoD/Diablo/Starcraft/Metal Gear/God of War, ect ect. ![]()
That ties into why we have this thread going, I think. I've had a ton of fun playing all of those games, and all but one of them has a fixed male protagonist. I really liked the tragic rise and fall of Kratos. I had a lot of fun trying to look for the Riddler's hidden puzzles as Batman. I've sailed the seas as a pirate in AC: Black Flag. I don't want those male characters to go away. I wouldn't want them to all be women, either.
Yet, in video games, especially ones that do have female characters, I do want to see them represented in a mainstream fashion. Really, at the end of the day, I'd love to see a TV advertisement about a month before release, showing a female PC. Preferably not a mage at this point, since I'd like to see a woman mundane (warrior/rogue) fighter stepping up for a change. It doesn't even have to be the game ad that is the heaviest in rotation. I just want to be able to turn on my TV and know it'll be there. It would feel like to me that someone in marketing is taking this pretty seriously, rather than leaving it to possibly obscure trailers. At least I know the devs and the writers do lurk on this board, and seem to be very supportive. The rest is up to the suits in marketing.
In the meantime, I'm going to continue to post in here when I feel like I have something to say. There is no harm in keeping visibility in this subject up, and I just let the more persistent nay-sayers roll off my back. ![]()

I like Kratos. I like to see another God of War game. In Batman, the 2nd one, playing as Catwoman a couple of times was really cool. Too bad she didn't have more moves like Batman

wait can you link that?
I think face tats are hideous so...let me see if that changes my mind XD
I think I can tell where the tattoo is in that picture, but it's invisible enough for me.
That female elf with freckles looks amazing though. I cannot wait for this game...

She looks weirdly similar to my mother ![]()
"We ask to see more female inquisitors" <--------- means hate for straight males.
I can't.

I couldn't resist.
Speaking of ME:Next, I bet it will have race selection. I'm guessing this for race/gender combinations.
Asari: Female only(since they are monogendered)
Human: Male and Female
Quarian: Male and Female
Salarian: Male only(since females don't leave Sur'Kesh)
Turian: Male and Female
I already saw... at this current moment. Its another human, but this time with more customizations than previously held. But best to look in ME3 Scuttlebutt for ME Next news. If they do alter it later on, then will know there. ![]()

Sorry, sir, I am not a woman. I dont feel any hate from the ladies in here, I DO however see hate coming from men that straggle in here once in awhile. The ladies want a fair share, and I agree. I want to see a dwarf femquisitor. The link to the male thread ... post there about it please. And you did say your words in the wrong way, take their advice, learn to be nicer. I would like to see another male inquisitor please. Would been the most effective wording you could of used here or in this thread:
http://forum.bioware...ari-inquisitor/
If you don't know what I'm talking about, than you should put more attention to a lot of posts in this thread. A lot of posts are not written the way that "it would be nice of someone else got also more spotlight". it's more like "bah, another straight white dude", "I'm so sick of seeing another white male" and other more insulting responses
Sorry, I cant agree with you, I am tired of the same looking straight male that gets over used. It would be nice to see them look different, which I posted a link right above the quote to discuss that further in, please.
Now that I caught myself back up, sorry if I gone back on those. We do have a female american VA that would be nice to hear. I am unsure what the male is to be honest, I dont pay attention to him.
My failing cause I dont care about his trailers. Is he British, then it would be nice to hear the american one then for him as well, but I know that doesnt belong in a thread about females. Just showing I do favor balances, which, isnt still balanced when the male quisitor on the back cover will make the gender neutral appear male instead to those that dont follow news.
However, I did get another lady interested by showing off the female to her. ![]()

Yes the freckles look better than I had hoped for! My Valeria Cadash is going to be dangerously cute, if I can use freckles and not scars I think that my chances of putting scars on Inquisitors just died since I will not be able to resist the freckles
And full freckles too I love it! Though I will say it'll be weird if that freckle option doesn't have freckles on the body as well I'm not sure how freckles work but them being that heavy in the face alone with none on the body at all to me would look a little strange. Again Yay freckles~ ![]()
So I bumped into this article. www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/137348-NPD-Survey-Shows-Core-Gamers-Are-Male-Casual-Gamers-Are-Female
It puts to rest the myth that 49% of gamers are female. The study in the article has found that only 1/5 gamers are female. So no, there's no conspiracy to put down female gamers; They are merely a small fraction of AAA publishers' potential audience, that's why there are fewer female protagonists and fewer ads targeted towards female gamers.
Um, no, where are you getting one fifth of all gamers from that article? It's a study about PC gamers, and shows that the majority of gamers who play on PC (edit) games that are not considered "core" games are female. That's all.
I really don't understand the obsession with telling female gamers that we don't exist and thus don't need marketing. Even *if* we were a small part of the audience, it's very obvious that female fans are passionate and interested in gaming, thus worth paying attention to.

No to mention that with good marketing to girls you're going to get female gamers trying to bring in their non-gaming friends to play, or you'll grab the attention of someone who never considered playing before.
Why wouldn't you want to expand your audience if possible?
