That image is from the twitter feed originally to hype the twitch livestream of a character creator demo and new area of gameplay they're showcasing, there's a thread about it in scuttlebutt. sorry thought you'd have come across it or I would have mentioned it earlier... it should answer some of our questions about different cc features though.

The event is happening Monday 29th September at 10am PDT US time... so 3am Tuesday morning for me in Aus. I may get up and watch it or I may not. Oh and they're asking for fans to participate and tell them what inquisitor they want the devs to make in the cc so since I doubt everyone will be saying the same thing that could get... interesting.

I really don't see myself playing a femQunari if I can't =/ and that would really bum me out.

Default Adaar from the demo looks softer. I think if they want to show chargen possibilities, especially with this new race, they would go a little extreme.

Jeez, those makeup options are so detailed. I don't even like wearing makeup and I'm excited. Lip shine, lip liner, under eye color, under brow color...It's blowing my mind.

I sure hope there is some kind of skin shine adjuster as well as lip shine, because that is one shiny qunari.  Is that because they have "metallic" skin or because it's darker skin and they always inexplicably make dark skin shiny?

 

Also interesting how the qunari has dark hair.  I guess we won't be restricted to white hair like I thought.

I hope that comes to origin as well in the good old free 48 hours. So at least then I can see if I can tweak a femQunari to my liking.

Is it me, or do the qunari inquisitor's horns look wimpy? Something about them just doesn't seem as badass as the qunari from DAII...

Hey, thanks for posting those pics. They look like they were from the Edmonton Expo today. The 80s makeup is the reason why Cameron Lee should not be asked by anyone to do makeup for them, he said. 

 

I am pretty sure thehomeworld asked me to ask these questions in this thread, so I'll post answers to them here.

 

thehomeworld: I did not get an opportunity to ask your question about Xbox silver accounts. I am so sorry. Do you have a Twitter account? If so you could try tweeting Mike Laidlaw or Mark Darrah (or both) - if you don't have a Twitter account, please let me know and I can tweet them for you. I did thank everyone I spoke to for all their work, and the lead creators today for putting the Lady Inquisitor in so many of their demos and such. There wasn't really any advertising art for DAI at the con except for the ambiguous-looking figure reaching up into the sky that is going to be the cover art for the boxes. The only panel that showed footage from DAI was today's, and it was the character creator. More time was spent on male character creation than female character creation, but there were some hairstyles that go to the shoulders.

Including enlarging or decreasing the size of the Adam's apple on your Inquisitor's neck. Soooo... that might be a small detail that means a lot for some Inquisitors and their players.

Interesting to note about the Character Creator, which we got to see live for the first time today - you can change pretty much everything about your character's face by clicking and dragging on the portrait in the Creator. Including enlarging or decreasing the size of the Adam's apple on your Inquisitor's neck. Soooo... that might be a small detail that means a lot for some Inquisitors and their players.

Instead of the occasionally requested boob sliders, we get an Adam's Apple slider.  That's really funny to me for some reason.
