Nice picture of a female mage inquisitor
Will I be able to wear that outfit all game? I might turn mage for that!

Yeah, if you find an outfit look you prefer, can keep that if you wish, it was stated in Mondays Twitch as definite.

I don't think you even need to be a mage to wear it. I remember them saying that mages can wear plate in this game, so the reserve can be true as well.
Yes it would be fantastic but I think it was printed months ago which means it isn't going to get anything added. Though I keep obsessing with that box cover don't I?
It would be fantastic! I really love that poster! ![]()
Box cover art is important, it's what people who haven't seen the advertising will see first in a game store if they're browsing for a new game and that will inform their level of interest in buying, researching or ignoring a game. I don't even bother picking up game boxes now that look like the generic male hero these days because that doesn't interest me at all. For me a cover needs to stand out and give me a reason to care about a game (unless it's a franchise I know and like already).
Considering that it's only natural to be obsessed with box covers. ![]()
No I'm not biased at all, why do you ask? ![]()
Tayah, you can play 4 females in Wasteland 2 if you desire.
If you haven't checked that one out, I suggest it. It kinda reminds me of FO2 in some design. CC is limited but can get some variances.
So tempted to play that human as well, Definitely getting urge to play rogue instead of mage female, but will be playing both so doesn't matter which is first. ![]()
My bro keeps suggesting it so it's nice to have a second recommendation and I'll get around to it when I'm not budgeting for other games... at the moment I'm waiting for DAI obviously but I'll be getting civ, beyond earth later this month as well. Probably going to pick up pokemon later too, pity it won't be out until after the mlb playoffs I could have played that between the action moments. ![]()
I'm still playing a mage first (and second) probably as I want to play a qunari (though having to deal with the hair as it is atm has dampened my excitement a little) and a dalish keeper's apprentice (who's clawing her way back in the running for first playthrough). After that I'll try out rogue and then warrior one of whom will be human and the other undecided... I may play more than one of each and throw a human mage in at some point as well but that's much further down the track. ![]()
Yeah, so many options, first 2 are going to be female, 3rd will be a male for Cassie, a female for Bull and male for Dorian. Oh, and a bi female elf for 6 options, that would be interesting. So that is my elven mage there. 4 females, 2 males so far. ![]()
I haven't decided on horn or no horn for my FemQunQuisitor.
Not sure about Civ, Beyond Earth. I know Sunset Overdrive is one title I am getting. Looking at trying out Shadows of Mordor.
I'm a civ fan from way back... I started with a friend's version of civ 2 and have been addicted ever since
I have a desktop and nintendo 3ds, no consoles so I hope Sunset Overdrive turns out well for you and you enjoy it. ![]()
All my inquisitors will be female and my qunari are definitely having horns... I know there's a hornless option but I wasn't interested in it even before I saw the black patches you get with it... yikes. I was originally thinking qunari would be my favourite race honestly and I love the horns and skintones, not to mention the height but the hair is... disappointing. Making very different characters with the current hairstyles will be difficult so I might lean back toward more elves again (they were my most played race in DAO).
Forgot to mention before that the mage and rogue outfits look great! I'm really looking forward to seeing how the other armours look for femquisitors and what the different crafting options add to them as well.

If Cassie would been romanceable by females then it would been maybe just one male and 5 females instead. ![]()
I love the mage and rogue outfits the ladies are wearing myself. Yes, I see myself using horns as most used. Qunari, human and then elf females. Not decided a female race for Bull yet, most likely dwarf. Human or qunari male for Dorian.
Im curious what the other female armors look like. ![]()

I like different things from each of the civs so I'm looking forward to seeing what I'll like in the next one (and what feature I'll really miss, there's usually one
).
I'm disappointed with the quality of the qunari hair but I'm hoping the textures are improved at least before or just after the game ships and then I'll be happier with the hair though there are some really nice mockups of what might have been floating around. Regardless I think I'll still start with fem qunari mage and a mohawk style though I wish it were a bigger, thicker, taller and altogether more intimidating mohawk. That elf keeps trying to jump the queue though ![]()
Nah, being tallish (I'd be happy to have a few extra inches actually) in RL makes the low dwarf perspective disconcerting when I play and I like being taller or at least eye level with most other characters which is why I'm looking forward to the qunari and towering over npcs... honestly I think her height is more of a draw card for me than the horns... just. ![]()
@aTigerslunch, I was so hoping for Cass or Viv for a female romance, that would have been awesome too.

Oh Im too ! being Tall is why Im making mah amazone !! woot cant wait !
As for Civ...urgh....everytime I hope for that old caravan system we had in Civ 2 . You could send them and share food lol the new system..that is automatic...I do not like .
But the trade route by sea..remind me so much of Age of Empire lol
Right now I have Civ 3 and 5 and let just say....it mutated alot and not in a good way ![]()
lol Tayah! we'll have to compare our Lady Qunari when the time come and maybe even Wrestle ! It be fun ![]()

Elven rouge? Would that be green colored blush that gives you vallalsin? Oh, you mean an elven rogue.
Kidding, I promise. Years of WoW taking hold there.
I would love to be able to put some paintings and cosmetics on the faces of my characters (for valaslins for example even male elfs).

You're in luck! Male characters will be able to wear makeup.
By the way, vallalsin is a cultural thing, not a gender thing, so male Dalish would get them. The only differences with the markings is what god they are supposed to represent. Solas doesn't have any blood writing because he wasn't he really raised among the Dalish. Or at least not for long enough to get his blood writing that marks an elf being past puberty. He's a unique case.

Males can wear makeup.
And don't worry, you can have Vallaslin. You have no say in the matter actually and can't play an elf without it.

Seconding the recommendation for Wasteland 2. I love me some old-school, numbers-based RPGing. I'll even put up with the isometric view. Although, this latest build is hellaciously buggy; it crashes my system about every half hour, and none of the work arounds do a thing.
But in an update or two; pick it up, it's really fun.

Thanks for the recommendation, might do so early next year, I think between dragon age, civ and pokemon I'm going to have plenty to keep me occupied until then.

Yeah that would have been a big jump because 4 has elements of both. You can share food with the new caravans if it's within your civ, you just don't make money from them at all for your own cities, so if people are starving keep caravans in your civ and if you're running out of gold find the nearest city state... they're a new feature and I actually don't mind them except when they ask me to get a great person right after I just produced that great person.
Somewhat narcissitic but I loved the building of your palace in civ 2 when you'd been playing well, I never knew what was going to be added next so it was fun.
Also qunari mages don't wrestle... they pick a target and then see who can destroy it with the bigger and best fireball!
@karushna5 sounds like some very interesting playthroughs, I hope they work out really well for you. ![]()
Sad news for those who were hoping for the ability to change casual attire:
@Mike_Laidlaw Hello
I was reading the C&C Q&A and started wondering something. Can we change the Inquisitor's casual clothing?
Not currently. Maybe later.
=/ so the gold pantsuit is it then?
I mean I liked it but still. Lame. Not even options like ME ![]()
"Maybe later" suggests to me that they are not worrying about it for release, but it could well be part of a DLC pack. So don't lose hope.

I'm hoping the 'maybe later' is code for 'we're putting it in don't worry' I'm not a big fan of that suit we've seen so far and it sounds like we're going to be spending a bit of our time in the keep and even though this really is a little thing I'm still bummed about it. I was really hoping for some choices with our outfit in the keep like how we choose the decor for it.
