When Shepard breaks and enters it's usually with good reason, and because the galaxy might be destroyed if he doesn't.

The wanton murder in Garrus' loyalty mission for example was totally unjustified, unless the justification is "I have to make sure garrus is not sad so collecturs dun keel him :( ". Screw the renegade option being taking revenge on one person at the end, what about the hundreds of unrelated people in the warehouse!

I was never one for appearances, but I'm happy with the armour we've been presented with so far.

Absolutely nothing is going to stop me playing my fem qunari inquisitor!

No not even you... Side eyes Dorian and Cass...

Huh? Does this mean there's no boob armour? YESSSSSSSS

Instead, we get male armors reskinned onto female characters.

It probably isn't that bad. I've seen the rogue armours and the mage coats which I adore.

The armor seems pretty well fitted to me. There are also plenty of styles we haven't seen yet.

I'm glad you enjoy them. Unfortunately, I have yet to see a female armor I like in the game so I don't have much reason to think there are ones I will.

You've seen how many, please?

If it's only the three or so that I've seen, I'd imagine there are many more styles. Doesn't the poster say something like 250 armours?

150 armors. And I've seen around 20 different armors now, with women wearing at least half of them.

I've seen all the twitch streams so far, and I've only seen maybe seven, but with switched out arms and/or legs... you know stuff that goes onto our companions don't count for the most part because they get their own unique models right?

Also, I like what they've done with armours. Everything is gender neutral looking and exactly the same regardless of which Inquisitor is wearing it. No oddly shaped breastplats, no random cutouts, and good coverage. It makes sense in the setting imo.

(That being said, the formal outfit looks like a male thing resized for a female, and the Skyhold outfit looks the exact opposite... so... tight..)

So you still have a pick of 130 that you could love.

I was referring to the styles of armor in that part of my post, not the CC.

Fair enough, I'm pleased with the armour. Female armour should look pretty much the same as male armour with a few tweaks for different hip sizes and want not.

I find that when developers try to make feminine armour, they make boob armour, so I'd much rather have the armour we have now.

Those Blue Suns were asking for it.

I think that's part of Garrus' standards for loyalty actually. He wants you to pointlessly kill dozens of mercs. It's his way of bonding. Sidonis is just the cherry on top.

LOL I never thought of it as 'bonding' before.

Considering most of the fights where you kill are scenarios of 'kill or be killed' or 'kill or critical mission failure' killing can hardly be avoided.  To call it murder seems a bit far fetched in a game sense.

Most pt I never kill Sidonis.

It's interesting that Bioware often has a moral alignment to killing renegade/paragon or approval/disapproval from characters depending on path, it at least makes me think about the choice, unlike the Skyrim for example where the as part of the assassins guild you're just killing for money with no understanding of why.  Anyway, not a topic for this thread.

As for armours I really haven't taken notice of a lot, okay I get people are caught up in aesthetics but there is so much more to the game than that you'll excuse me if I feel a little bewildered at some of the attitudes here on BSN.

Hence why I am playing as a male first to see if there are any feminine armors we actually get through schematics or shops(using NPCs as a judge for them).

I'm happy for you both.

Though things like boobplate or impractical armor isn't what I meant. I meant armor that has feminine qualities to it.

If you don't like the thing you have to stare at for 150+ hours, then the rest of the game isn't as enjoyable.

but what, youve seen supposedly 20 armours of possibly what 150 combos?

Anyway forget it, this line of argument just annoys the crap out of me so im going to drop it.

It would be nice to see some more flamboyant armors with a softer or more flashy edge.

But I enjoy the practical ones displayed so far.

I don't see how you can really make armours feminine besides colouring it pink and painting flowers on it. Female clothing have different cuts, low neck lines, elaborate skirts, and in modern fashion, a lot more exposed skin, none of which make sense for armour.

But I suppose they could go nuts with the "mage armour" since they aren't armours at all.

I think the one of the only ones made for female was the Dalish light armor in DA2 (Hawke couldn't use it though). Merrill's romance armor was similar, but covered the flesh more.

edit: I'd like to see more Dalish (m and f) armors btw.

I've always been wary of interjecting in this thread, but I have to ask, what do you think makes armor feminine? If you don't want them making exceptions for different anatomy, like boob plates, aren't you basically going to have male armor?

Let's see.... Would you say these are feminine?

For me, it's just a different sense of decor.

And this is just my personal taste, with men I'm going to gravitate to less embossed, possibly darker, armour that has presence to it. With women, I'm going to go for inlaid designs, occasionally jewels, and rich colours - like a deep forest green.

Look a few posts above and I've posted what I think are tasteful and feminine armours. (Apologies for the boob window on the cloaked female, but that can be fixed with a simple higher collar.)

Sorry, was actually talking to Kallen, I should have quoted her.

Anyway, I wouldn't say any of those look inherently feminine. I could see a guy wearing all of them, with a few alterations, of course.

I don't know, when it comes to the female armor debate, I've always seen a divide between "armor should be beautiful" and "practicality is beauty".

Oh sorry, I didn't mean to interject.

I have a foot in both camps. I want my practicality to be beautiful, I guess? Which is probably why I'm drawn to all of the above outfits.

Instead, we get male armors reskinned onto female characters.

That's a bit extreme, I think they look good. Certainly better than what we got in Origin

From what I've seen in the videos, the armor looks fine. I won't worry about it till I start playing the game and customizing it to my liking for my femquisitor
