On the topic of specifically Sigrun... I was always under the impression she is almost never mentioned because of how the end "game" of Awakenings is. It's pretty heavily implied, imo... Either she dies at the Keep, or wanders off one night to die in the Deep Roads like she should have before.
Could we please see more of the Lady Inquisitor?

And that's part of the reason why I'm playing a dwarf. I'm betting a lot of folks will be trying out Qunari, if for no other reason than it's something new. The lady Qunari looks interesting, and I'm torn between making her a mage or saving that for my lesbian elf.
Still, I want to give some love to the dwarves. It makes me sad that, in 15 years of BioWare's history, there has been a grand total of one female dwarf companion. I'm going by games that have had some incarnation of the race, whether in Thedas or in D&D. Sigrun's been largely forgotten about by the DA team it seems, due to her being an expansion-only character. A lot of my dwarf's characterization is going to be based off of her, and it's a shame that she's been so side-lined.
Dwarves still don't have an available romance of for their own race, so I figure my vote will help. They are my favorite DA race.
I probably will get around to doing a lady Qunari to help their numbers.
But I'll do my human lady mage first ![]()
Also yeah dwarves
Every other race has a species romance they can have but poor dwarves.

She certainly was awesome while she was alive though... *swoon*

I don't ever expect to see her again, but a mention would be nice.
Temporary new avatar in celebration of Halloween tomorrow!

I'm going to be doing a male Qunari mage first (my self insert
), right after that is my female Dwarf warrior, and she's going to be AWESOME. I think my first human is scheduled for, like, my fourth playthrough (another lady warrior).

Actually outside of Anders (the Awakening version of Anders) I hated most of the companions in Awakenings. Even Oghren since all his character development from Origins just ups and disappears.
My favorite female characters are probably these ones:
-Isabela
-Leliana
-Dagna
-Morrigan

I recruited her and sorely wish I hadn't. Fixed that in latter playthroughs.

It's great to have multiple playthroughs planned in advance

Starting to wish Anita was never brought into this thread. All the back and forth makes my skin crawl.
Back to DA:I please, before we get locked?
Wish i could like more than once.
Any way i loved Sigrun i wish we got more female Dwarf companions.
Just more dwarvs in general... Dagna.

Considering my list I am sure you can imagine how happy I was to hear Morrigan narrating that first trailer we got and seeing Leliana pop up all over the place.

If I finish my DA:O mage playthrough before DA:I comes out, I'll carry forward into DA:A.
I wish I could have romanced Nathaniel.... *sigh*

Except I have 8 planned, so it's just overwhelming
. It's even worse because I'm waiting to the fourth playthrough to romance Cullen and I'm like "WILL I LAST THAT LONG?"

Jeez you people. I have like ONE character planned and past that point of what the character will look like and how they will act and the primary decorating style of Skyhold I have ZERO stuff planned.
Yeesh.

My goodness, you're playing every combo and trope possible!
I've only got 2 planned out, but I'm excited. They already feel like real people to me.

I don't even really plan names. I just use my own for "myself" in game and then I use like my dog's name, gf's name and such for other characters.
I guess I have like 3 "planned" as in I will play it all the way through at least once as each class.

My names always have to have some meaning. I actually got upset last night when I named my mage lurlina wihtout thinking. She's supposed to be this devoted-to-the-cirlce, naive and curious little magelet and her name means Temptress!
What the eff, KS?
