I'm slightly worried that I'll have a DA2 experience and only be able to stomach one playthrough, and I almost worry it'll be a waste of that experience playing Acantha (my qunari mage) instead of Eavan (my human rogue).
But I really want to play qunari for telemetry and origin reasons...
I'm having a change of heart and may be a traditionalist and play human rogue first... Thoughts/Advice?

Oh, I absolutely hated DA2 and I refused to play it again, so I'm just worried that I may not like DA:I as much as I hope I will.

However, I wouldn't get too worried yet. It'll make the next week and a half needlessly stressful. Try to maintain some optimism. It can be tough on the forums, and easy to get lost in the negativity. <hugs>

DA2 didn't have high replay value for me even though I had no quibbles over the game. It just didn't have dwarves so the oomph wasn't there for me. Go with the oomph. The oomph keeps you coming back.

Hahaha, that's actually my Aeducan. I wore it all throughout origins and when I saw Sigrun wearing it, I pouted for a second and decided OKAY FINE she can have her turn. =p (I kept mine in the chest at the Keep though.)

I spend days in name dictionaries, looking up meanings that suit the character I want to play.
I was so pissed at myself for calling my mage Lurlina, because she's supposed to be this little, curious magelet who's devoted to the circle. And Lurlina freaking means Temptress!! What was I thinking?
So Eavan means Fair (as in fair of face) because she's this charming, beautiful rogue, and Acantha means thorny, which is perfect since she's a stoic qunari.
