It would be nice to make a super buff looking warrior or a super lithe rogue or a mage who looks like a gust of wind would knock them over (or make a super buff mage, whatever floats your boat) but I can live without, so long as the bodies we have don't look weird.

Of that I have no doubt. And I have played it, just not that far. I own it on console and I'm just not very good on consoles. x) But I do think that if it were possible to adjust the body, and people are able to extend the sliders....*shudders* I think we would see some terrifying boobs, the likes of some Skyrim mods.
Some, yes, but there'd also be a LOT of other variety. ![]()
Give Dragon's Dogma another chance, the combat really is super awesome and kind of carries the game until you finally, sort of, get a story toward the end.

Oh you're right of course, I would be all for it if given the chance. I'm just pointing out at what might happen. It's why I also think it's a shame there aren't that many hair mods for DAII, or a toolset (that I know of) so that you can make more varied faces as all my Hawkes tend to look kind of the same.
And I might give Dragon's Dogma another chance someday, but I think I actually already gave up when you had to chase that dude down the streets. ![]()

My god YES we need a more detailed character creator!! My Hawke always looks the same as well - with the spiky hair - because the other options are plain ugly.
Such a simple thing, to just add another dozen or so styles. And colors. And... well, all the rest of it too. Here's hoping!

In SW:ToR, I made a body size 4 warrior just so I could see all of him use charge. He's my comic relief Sith and it's fun to troll people with him in PvP. I want that for DA:I.

A perfect example is a cyclist and a powerlifter, the powerlifter squats 130kg 10 times, he gets strong and builds big leg muscles. The cyclist pedals for hours, increases his muscle endurance but his legs won't change a lot, optically.
Dunno about that, most Olympic cyclists have T-Rex thighs and buns of steel.

That pic actually proves my point-. Thats an oval sprint cyclist, they drive short distances with very high speeds in oval tracks. Like NASCAR, with bikes and only a couple of laps.
Because they require lots of strength to get the max speed only for a short time they build bigger muscles. Also those sprint cyclists do lots of weightlifting (legs) so they get better acceleration. (And most of them take roids, sadly)
Lance Armstrong, a pro endurance cyclist has pretty average looking legs:

She takes god care of herself?
I've seen men in their 50s with bodies that put young guys to shame

Being possessed by a spirit might be helping, too. For all we know her bosom wasn't at all magical before that happened ...

Puts a new spin on "spiritual support".

Nothing would break RP like playing a mage with Arishok's musculature, but what can you do? ![]()

I think a body type like this would be perfect for femquisitor and female fighter companions: Bioware make it happen!
