Dear fellow Inquisitors.

 

The Dragonage series is the most beloved game series that I have ever played, and I have played Dragonage: Origins more times than I can count.

 

It has become a long tradition of mine to celebrate my joy for the upcoming Bioware title with a fan made trailer of mine.

I have put a lot of effort in this one, done some narration myself (although not an english speaker, but give me a chance), wrote the whole text for it and provided a lot of additional sound to enhance the images.

 

 

I really hope yo like it.

After so many people liked my video and suggested I should participate in #TakeYourPartDAI, I have done so. Regerettably I am not eligble, as I do not live in one of the allowed countries (nor am I a native english speaker, which might be the biggest crime). But mabye someday there will be a similiar event or chance to participate in german voice over. Nevertheless, here it is:

Well thank you. That is high praise. I just love the series. I think, it might show. BIOWARE has always been a part of my gameing life. I really hope they get it right this time, after the letdown in ME3, but I am full of hope.

ME3 is not letdown for me, but that's just me BioWare is great part of my gaming life since my friend introduced me ME1. they've had almost 3 years to work on this game. They're supposed to get this right, but we'll see when its out.

Well not exactly a letdown. But I had higher expectations, than the game could deliver. I felt betrayed at the end of the series (original ending before the download) and that somewhat mellowed my feelings for the rest of the game. There was a lot of great writing in the final episode (Especiall the end of Morden and the Cure of the Genophage, and also the Relation Varrus / Shepard, that I just loveed). I thought the end was lacking from an authors point of view and so the game only was "great" instead of epic, that it could have been.

 

So it was only a disappointment to my overly high hopes, I give you that. It is still a great game, but I liked ME2 much better. The end was a high example of highly satisfying.

That would be a dream of mine. But I am not a native english speaker. Oh well.... one never knows until one have tried, don´t I?

Not entering will give me NO chance. Entering the competition would give me a slight chance.... I have seen so many great entries, but the game has to be subbed in German too, doesn´t it?

That was your voice?? In the middle of watching I was wondering which character that was and which trailer that was from lol! Sounded very professional and natural. Very nice and Zevran was great.

Well, yes, it was my voice and my words I have spoken. I think I am easily recognized as a non-native english speaker. I am german and I have a hard time speaking the "v" as in "veil" korrekt, but I really try, every day to become a better narrator. At least I do not stu,ble over the "th"-age as much as I used to.

 

If all of you could understand me quite well, I have done a decent job and I can be proud of it.
