I bought the first game on the 360 I have several saves on it, but now I'd like to play me2 on the pc so I bought the first one on the pc and preordered the second. My question is can I use the console to fast pace myself to 60 and beat ME1 and the side missions and import my character or can a character that has, in essence, been cheated not be imported? Anyone know the answer to that or has anything been said about it?

Cheating will result in ME2 save games becoming corrupt, and essentially useless.

Bioware are not/and will not test Mass Effect 2 with any cheats enabled. Use them at your own risk.

I suggest just doing one major playthrough and quick. The bonus for importing a lvl 60 isn't exactly unfair, no special armour or weapons, so you won't be missing much.

jumping to conclusions there.

cheats and glitches will not be tested by bioware, but unless you have multiple major desicions there is no confirmation that your game will be corrupt. it may be, but chances are xp cheats will not do that. of course, use at your own risk.

Thanks for the clarification Frotality. I'll do a normal playthrough. I can save before the final boss, and level shepard right there. Should work out fine.
