Hi All:  What would you do if you go pick up your ME2 copy and you get the wrong version, this has happen to me, sort of lol.  When I first pre order my ME2 CE at gamestop I didn't notice of the codes (like xb3 or pc).  So I go in the store to prebuy my copy and asked about the code.  The clerk told I order a ME2 CE xbox360 version, what???   Then I change it to the pc but I glad I did it earlier or I would have pick up a xbox version then getting a pc ME2 CE.  Plus I dont have a xbox360 too lol.    Just asking if anyone else has this happen you?


PS:  The codes I mean is on your gamestop bill for your game.

Nope, definitely made sure I have the 360 one ordered! Although I could imagine it happening and me screaming at the wall when it does!

I made sure to check my receipts when I preordered DAO and ME2, but I didn't have any problems. I'll check the box when I get it just to be sure twice.

Due to living in a primitive country, I have to pick up my copy.
Seriously, though, I live in the Netherlands and was told at first that only Gamemania would have the CE available. Order with them, and you have to come pick it up. Later it turned out every other retailer also has them and they deliver. That's what you get for being quick to order. So if I get the wrong one, I will A) refuse to pay and  get myself the right one immediately.

If I came in the store on Jan 26 with the wrong version and the ME2 CE pc sold out I would be upset abit. But I guess it would be my fault not looking at bill.

well the store I pre-ordered from doesn't carry PC games, so no problem there

Well if i get the xbox version, good, its what i ordered and that pleases me.



If i get the PC version, i have one good save on it, i am still pleased, however i won't get the fuzzy feeling of 360 achievements popping up informing me of my successfulness. I also won't get any level 60 Xp bonus which will make me upset that i have to do more work to get XP.

Murder-Suicide, probably. Then I'd come back to life, go to Gamestop, get the 360 version, finish it 5-10 times, and then wait for ME3 (what else would I do? I'd be a zombie.)



Or I'd just check it when I got if from Gamestop. Either works.

I know that if I get the standard edition instead of my collector's edition I will uncover some secret-ninja powers, and then suddenly they will be a few employee's short. muahaha. but seriously yes, I'd be quite upset.

If I got a PC copy I'd be upset because my inferior OS X computer can't run it.

It would be very weird to get the Xbox version through steam...





But if you're talking about a hypothetical situation where the game was mailed to me, I would just play it on my Xbox, where I also have save games ready for importing!

I bought it on Steam, now I don't have to worry about it arriving late or being the wrong copy.

I'd still be happy as I have both an xbox360 and a pc muhaha!:O
Now I think about it I wish I ordered the xbox360 one as I might have it by now

I tripled checked my receipt it has Mass Effect 2 CE SD 1/26 74.19 so either i bought a real expansive pc version or its the Xbox collectors edition. I was surprised with the 1/26, might mean i was the first CE pre-order mawhahaha ... at that store
