No maxed manifest here, I use my gear. Still chasing N7 and CP but not as a grind. Enjoy the game and Its ability to reveal new challenges and styles of play from solos & dous to speed runs. Alot of stuff to get good at while having fun.
The OP and various others fail to comprehend that the "bar" was never set to it's current height from the beginning of the game. When the game released the RNG was actually a good idea, sadly though as the pool grew(Via DLC). The RNG became less and less of a good idea. I grinded a lil but, but mainly just played the game and it took around 1500 hours to max my manifest, granted i had all the banners except BotB waaaay b4 maxing out my manifest. I still play just for fun....

This is a big part of it. The store has become inflated with so much content, but what makes it difficult is how much of that content is of the Ultra Rare status.
There are 21 Ultra Rare weapons. By contrast there 25 Rare, 11 Uncommon, and 5 Common weapons.
Those numbers are absolutely not acceptable. There are almost as many UR as Rare. There should be far fewer UR guns, and more Rare and Uncommon guns instead. There are booster packs that guarantee both Rare and Uncommon items, but the UR drop rate is staggeringly low. Too low to supply 21 guns at 10 levels each. That means a player has to get 210 UR drops if they want to max out their manifest. There was a time when players could get a guaranteed promo UR from the old weekend promos, and I did most of those, but those events are no longer available, and that hurts a lot. It certainly hurts anybody who picked up the game after the weekend events ended. Once the events ended, they should have dropped a few UR guns down to Rare status.
There are still 3 guns that I don't have at all, the Lancer, Blood Pack Punisher and Spitfire, and I have been playing mostly since launch. I took about a 3 month break recently, but I got an itch to play, and now I'm playing as much as I ever did. I guess there is not much better praise than to be able to become hooked again so easily, but it would be nice if I could experience what it is like to wield those 3 guns that I am not lucky enough to get.
922 hours, 68 URs left. Don't care though, as most of the guns I care about are either maxed or between V-VIII. Think I got BotB at 350ish hours, don't remember though.
It's not a grind if you're having fun. I still have 48 UR to go to max my manifest and ~950 hours wear on the controller. Getting an UR is cool but it's not why I play. I'll keep going until it's no fun or they switch off the servers.
And tbh, if ME3 was transferred to next gen, I'd buy it just for the MP, and I wouldn't care if I had to start a new manifest either
I've got a max manifest since end of last November, and the game is still fun; I would definitely play ME3 MP on a next gen console even if it entailed starting over. I've even tested this: I tried a 30-day Xbox trial and managed to get pretty far into my manifest in those 30 days. No promoting there, though; I don't need to go for the challenges I've already achieved in my main profile.
The only 'grind' that's in the MP is the asinine 200-waves per character on the CP system. You were pretty much forced to step down to bronze/silver for the sake of time. The rest is working as intended... troll store and all. Have fun and quit worrying about maxing things out.
