[The Most Sneaky Of Foxes]

So the BWF made some changes to the way they format BB code (which is annoying) so here's an almost sort of not really exhaustive list of handy font modifiers and such.
 
Also some other stuff they've changed that people may not be aware of I'll put on here. If you've got any questions about formatting/general inquiries about posting, ask here.
 
So:
 
Linking Thangs
 
To post a basic URL
 
[ url ] paste the url here [ /url ]
 
Remove spaces between brackets, and end up with this:
 
http://forum.bioware...4-tali-grew-20/

To posted linked text

[ url = paste the url here ] words you want to become linkeable [ /url ]
 
Remove spaces between brackets, and end up with this:

Posting Images

Other codes include
 
bolding text - [ b ] words [ /b ]
 
Italicising text - [ i ] words [ /i ]
 
Underlining text - [ u ] words [ /u ]
 
Slashing text - [ s ] words [ /s ]
 
Colouring text - [ color = red ] words [ /color ]
 
* Here is a list of BB colour codes
 
Remove spaces, of course.

 

(If you're still confused as to the exact format of these codes, quote this post and disable formatting by clicking the grey switch icon to the extreme left of the menu above the text box, and look at the links/picture I posted. From there you should be able to see BB code at work without the spaces and fake text I used in the examples.)
 
Now I realise that most of this has become easily accessible in the handy hot menu above the text box, but this is helpful reference nonetheless. I know on mobile there isn't that menu available, and there's also the option of getting rid of the menu and reverting to basic BB codes (like the ones I listed above) by clicking the grey switch icon in the upper left-most corner of the menu.
 
Now, removing the hot menu is mainly useful if one is using Internet Explorer (and since I'm confined to a tablet, I must use this horrible browser), which for some reason disables your ability to copy/paste things in BWF posts, as well as disables the ability to quote. Both of which can be fixed by clicking the switch icon and getting rid of the text formatting menu.

You can also change your username on the new BW forums! The function is available every 90 days and will be accessible under your profile settings.

Most of this I either found by myself or had to search for in the Help section of the forums, which can be a pain. If anyone else finds some useful stuff to include, let me know and I'll add it in.
