Hi there my fellow Dragonage lovers.

 

After so many people liked my video "voices from the past" and some of you have flatteringly suggested I could participate in #TakeYourPartDAI, I have done so.

 

Regerettably I am not eligble (which I have found out somewhat late), as I do not live in one of the allowed countries (nor am I a native english speaker, which might be the biggest crime).

 

But mabye someday there will be a similiar event or chance to participate in german voice over. Nevertheless, here is my foreign contribution. Please take your time and tell me, what you think about it. I really like to know:

 

 

When recording I have spoken in two different Seneschalls and I liked the somewhat exaggerated "accent" talking version slightly better than my other try, although it might be a bit too much, but it was at least fun.

 

Personally I think I like my inquisitor the best, although that part never was available to the "geeks", I fear.

I enjoyed your Seneschal entry.

Your voice is of course much different than  my own, but your take on the style of both those parts is incredibly similar to my own. Hey, and why couldn't either of those parts have someone with  a German accent? I'd say contest location is your one drawback.

Your accent is great and your voice is very interesting.  I wish you the best.

 

Both of your Seneschals were very entertaining, but your peasant wasn't genuine.  It fell emotionally flat despite your wonderful accent.

 

Still I hope they consider you, regardless of location.  Bioware has fans all over.

"Voices from the Past" was fantastic.  It brought back so many amazing moments from the previous games and your narration was well done.  Both your entries for the contest were great, hope they consider them.  The accent worked really well for the Seneschal so maybe you have a chance.

You don't have to be a native English speaker to have an excellent voice for VO, or even DA specifically.

 

You just gotta feel it really. There's a place for voices of all different kinds.
