Hey guys,

 

Basically what it says on the tin. Is it possible at all for the Ignore Function to also encompass topics made by the people that you've ignored?

I haven't ignored anyone so I wouldn't know, but how much does the ignore function actually affect? What does it do exactly?

 

Does it hide all posts by a user? Does it hide their profile? PMs? Comments? Quotes of theirs in posts by others? What exactly does an ignore encompass?

It blocks their ability to private message you and hides any of their posts in a topic. Although you're left with a space wherever their post was with a line that says something along the lines of "Hidden post by X. Click to view." 

 

If someone quotes them though, you'll end up seeing their post.
