I think that would be more of a Biotic than Combat focused character, consequently not truly a Soldier. And would be too similar to the Drell Adept.
Given the power set I originally had in mind, she would have only 1 Biotic ability - a defensive one. But still capable of Biotic booms, depending on the build.
Also, I wanted to give new life to two forgotten and underappreciated powers, Adrenaline Rush and Biotic Sphere.

I like the duration & power damage passives, but I could understand wanting the Drell tree instead. If I was going to change them at all, I'd rather have more weapon & headshot damage vs. more power damage without the duration bonus. I tend to run the Justicar with an AR so the stability would come in handy also, as well as the AR weight bonus should I choose to take it.

It sounds like you're joking, but according to the lore Batarians are actually really tech savy.

Except for the KI (TC + heavy melee ), no I was being serious with the rest. There were Batarian Engineers in BDTS ME1 DLC so they do exist. Others BSNers thought of the idea of  a FQ Sentinel.
