They all look really good. But of course they don't show off an example of the Male and Female Qunari in there.
That picture predates the announcement of the playable Qunari, IIRC.

Technically, you are right. It is shown in a video about 30 seconds before they said you can also play as Qunari. ![]()

She really is.
I am completely mesmerized by her for some reason, more than the other two, which is completely abnormal for me lol. I love playing as a f!elf, it's been a preference since I was little but idk, the f!dwarf just looks so gooooood!
and her braid
I can only imagine how the Lady Qunari is going to look, but I'm not sure my heart can handle that lol.
How will the female Qunari look? just take the female human, turn her skin gray & then add small horns. I could be wrong but ill be surprised if fem Qunari doesn't look that different from a tall gray skinned human

And add a couple centimeters in height. Voila! Female Qunari. ![]()
There's a thread somewhere about the Qunari look with concept art that shows basically this.
Too bad we can't adjust our body shapes/sizes in the CC...

Well, being on the Frostbite engine, the modders won't get their chance this time.
Wait......what?? Life without mods is like......life without flavor! You mean I'm *stuck* with their bland, lifeless fashion? No new hair? armor? Nooooooooooo!! ![]()

I really think half the trouble I had with the CC was the incredibly poor lighting. Give me an outdoor setting instead of the prison-cell-in-torchlight look, no matter what kind of ambiance you think it offers. If the hair and makeup can't be modded, then I can live with it, as long as I don't have to deal with recreating my character's appearance 7 times just to get it right.
(And of course, I still vehemently hope they create a toolset for modders.)

I just played with the creation option on the on-line Skyrim beta. I don't play on-line games, but the creation section was nice. Had some really nice hair from braids to more flowing hair and included a mohawk. The faces were easy to work with and you could change height and weight. They definitely looked better than usual. I'm also hoping for more, nicer looking hair, and all the stuff others have mentioned.

You mean Elder Scrolls Online right? The CC is indeed a nice one but.....those braids are terrible. They just look like cillinders with a braid texture slapped on them. And another thing, I don't mind hair beind pulled away from the face, like in a tight bun or a ponytail. But why make the hairline start so far back. Like it's receding! A lot of games make that mistake but Bioware especially has a knack for it. Remember the high bun in ME?
The modded Tallis hair however, is the other end of the spectrum. That one is far too low. (The original one and the two longer tails. There's also one with the Morrigan bangs which sits ok on the head.)

Bioware doesn't exactly own the rights to it. EA does, and EA doesn't really like modders.

Oh that I know. I wanted to mod the crap out of ME3 when I saw there were actually mods for it....but Origins doesn't let me. It starts to update ME3 without an end. (not progressing beyond 99%) And so I couldn't use Texmod to change a texture....I also think it's almost too much work, the way you need to mod ME3 comparing to other games.

Well, I think that modders always find they're way to do stuff.
But it won't be like in DAO anymore and I'm crying because of that too...

I so hope you're right! It was amazing what the modding community did with ME3 (hairstyles, skins, make-up etc), so perhaps they'll find a way to mod some aspects of DA:I.

And I SO appreciate those modders. I can do little stuff, but the things some of those modders figure out is just mind boggling. And then they're nice enough to tell us how to do it! Modders are awesomeness.
I would love to be able to mod DAI like DAO or Skyrim, but I was okay with the mods that came out for ME3. They put out mods for the things that I really wanted, so though I would have liked to have seen more content, I was good with what I had. To be honest, mods make me feel like a kid in a candy store who has never had a piece of candy in her life. I want them ALL. So, sometimes maybe being limited is a good thing.
Oh, to the void with that..........I want it all and I want it NOW!! ![]()

Yes, the Skyrim online. I have a mod for hair on the original Skyrim. I love mods for that type of game. Anything with mages and rogues.
I liked the braid, wait, i liked the single braid down the back and the shorter curly or wavy one.. ME's bun was my usual pick, but mostly because I didn't like the pony tail till ME3 and at least one of the hair styles looked like I had a round button by my ear. I know it was supposed to be hair that didn't get put behind the ear, but it looked weird to me.

It recently occurred to me that qunari are always depicted with grey skin and white hair, and I wonder how they will deal with this in the CC. Will all flesh tones be available to all races? Will a range of greyish tones be available to qunari and qunari only? Will qunari be restricted to white hair, or maybe subtle shades of white?

My warden-Sten love child will have a beautiful blueish hue to their skin and light brown hair with a silver sheen.

Ugh. I don't see what's so bad about modding a game, Bethesda has allowed FULL modding and they do just fine, plus it makes the game x100 times more interesting and fun and makes people wanting to play more.
Ah, EA... i'll never understand you.

With the Frostbite engine, toolkits for modding is something they would specifically have to take the time to create, and I'd rather they spend that time on the game itself. Perhaps after the game is released, though.

At the "playable races" panel at PAX (which really just became the "holy **** qunari" panel), the devs said they were looking at lots of different horn options. I wonder if we'll be able to adjust things like the size and angle of them.
