It should be possible, to make your Avatar look like you want without something like that... and like i said, modders made that possible.

So in a game where you can have your male avatar literally sleep with another man, the option of a few pixels of digital shading is a bit too gay for you?

You can't substitute gay for potatos, you can only substitute things for something of equal or lesser value, and I think we can all agree potatos are the greatest thing in the world with no equal in value at all.
You can however trade gay for a side salad.
That and zoom. I can't tell half the eye colors apart.

After playing Sims games for so long it's always been hard to come to terms with the DA CC. When I finally get a face in DA2 that doesn't look like a boiled potato, the in game lighting hits her cheek/jaw/chin/whatever wrong and gives her a 5 o'clock shadow. When femHawke gets cozy with Anders, my smooth cheeked lady looks like she has more scruff than he does.
Like many of you have said already, just ANYTHING to make a face defined/distinct. I want my Inquisitor to look like the unique, world saving BA that she is.
If the models they showed us are actual products of the CC then I'm super excited
