What annoys me most is people with really high N7 / CP on gold/plat lobbys without equipment and failing miserably on-game. I get it that on gold equipment is not mandatory, but if you're not going to use it then you could at least be competent enough not to need it

Happens more often than we should think. o.O 

 

And no matter who it is, they could atleast put gear on.

Nothing at all, everyone can play as they want to. Maybe a few more gold games will change that, but I doubt that.

BTW: A question to you who find flamer classes annoying - what if you know your flaming manners? Is it [more] ok then? I.e. if you at all costs other than accidental/critical use, avoids flaming your fellow players?

Always-on microphone that is close enough to a player's speakers that we can clearly hear his game, too.

 

It's extra if the player is playing non english version of the game.

Nothing. Not a fan of preset map/faction and "always on" mics. Also rather picky in general when it comes to pug lobbies on Gold, but usually there is no problem finding one that looks decent after a couple of searches. I don´t care what characters people play.

This list is aimed at Platinum lobbies...

 

* No equipment

* Avenger I...Shuriken II...etc

* Explosive Rounds

* More than one Juggernaut

* Weird weapon mods or gear that makes no sense

* Low N7 + low Challenge Points using a Vanguard or a character with no dodge = insta-killed often!

* Too many characters that rely heavily on grenades

* LAG (although this isn't noticeable in the lobby)

To sum up my thoughts, I really dislike ineffective PUGs...

 

See, I have zero problems with Geth Trooper/Flamer kits or even AIU's. If people can kill effectively, handle the difficulty - and most importantly stay alive - then I have zero problems. Unless, it's a team full of Ghosts or AIU's, because you'll be frustrated with the lack of grenades on Platinum. But what it boils down to, is I just want to have fun together. I don't want what could have been a fun Plat game, turn into a frustrating event.

 

You just need to be honest with yourself. Know your limits. It took my months to be on a high enough level for Platinum; only when I figured I could handle the heat, I stepped it up to Platinum. First with so called "crutch-kits," then with all kits. That's the learningcurve, and I understand that people sometimes jump into a Platinum lobby to check it out. But make sensible choices when it comes to characters/weapons, and make sure to have some equipment, don't find out in the open, and stick with your team. Nobody likes a Rambo that drops every 10 seconds.

Seeing a krogan warlord(or any other melee kit) constantly melee stuff he/she shouldn't currently be meleeing(such as a praetorian 90% of the time, a banshee when she's jumpin' about, a phantom who has just melee'd someone nearby) and continues to do so regardless if he/she has already been sync killed for around 5 out of the 11 waves.

 

Krolords are great! You can take bets on how many times they get their head nom'd by a crab.

ADAS + Flamer kits, will leave a game in progress even if a new person drops in wave 10

 

 

Only time I like flamer is on a glacier plat speed run w/ a flame (or two), snap cheese, and an overloader because roflstomp around the map.

 

Only time I like ADAS is never.

On silver you can do whatever the hell you like ;-)

Ever since starting new manifest I've played with alot of low n7's that did fair job especially with me being cheap and playing without consumables/equipment cos no time to shop gotta stop the reapers. It's interesting that most of the time when I play with a group of low n7's 9/10 we get full extraction. And I don't feel like I'm carrying the game neither do I see people just bleed out after wave 6 and don't care to try. Maybe I just don't pay enough attention or keep running in alts.

 

Me think N7 should be thrown outta airlock along with the leaderboard

 

Also I used to host U/U/G with a L1 TSent N7<100 and Locust II come at me
