There are moments in the game, Denerim, where the Physical Resistance check no longer applies. Point in question is right now where my character, an AW tank, has shimmering shield, 100 mental, 100 physical and yet I noticed when an attack came from a mob it drop down to 93.
Physical Resistance drops?
How can that be? 
I see no talent that drops the physical resistance of an enemy down and with 100 I should be comfortably immune to all special talents that strip my character of attack speed, accuracy, defense or armor. Is this for real? Or am I being penalized for having a low level 15 character in a level 20 minimum area? It is Denerim after, and I am to assume Bioware doesn't want us there until during the Landsmeet?
