I've been following the forums for a couple of days now to see if anyone had the same concerns about lower spec systems, but I've seen no topic about this so far, so I though I should start one myself. Not all of us have a next gen console or can afford to upgrade our PC as the economy isn't exactly at its best, so I'd prefer not to have to dig in my wallet all the way to the deep roads to find enough coin to do just that. I though that since Inquisition will be released for past gen consoles in addition to new ones, the graphics for PC's should be very customizable so that it suits both "past gen" and "next gen" suited comps, so to speak. I can play most past gen games well enough as long as I don't go crazy on the graphics, so I'd really appreciate to know if there's any info regarding that at this point. Thank you in advance, and I do hope I'm right about this!

Currently there's still not alot of info on the PC specifications and It won't be until probably a few months closer to release before we got the full specification, I mean these next 5-8 months are crucial and all the fine tuning and optimisation will be all underway now.

So we'll just have to be patient, but i would imagine since this is being made for past and current gen consoles, the PC version is going to be able to suit a whole range of PC Setups

I though as much, logic tells me that considering how dynamic the PC platform is, they'd need to come up with a solution like that in order not to alienate people like me. I could just go and get the PS3 version since buying a game is much easier than upgrading a PC or getting a new console, but I usually prefer gaming on my PC.

Same for me, if a game is multi platform and the PC version has been given its own dedicated UI and things like that I much prefer to play the PC version. Though I love my PS3 to :)

PC really is the harder one to make for when you think about it, since they need to configure it so it will work with a large amount of different PC setups, so no one person will have the same PC as another.

The best way to find if your PC can run DA:I is to see the system requirements for Battlefield 4. We don't really know nothing about DA:I requirements except for the fact that it uses the same engine as Battlefield 4. If it has lower or higher minimum system requirements than it we don't know yet.

If your PC isn't strong enough to run Battlefield 4 there are huge chances that it wouldn't be able to run DA:I. My best advice is either to get a console version or save some money and buy a custom PC. It's not that hard as it seems to build a good (not great) gaming PC and you can build a pretty good one with 500-600 $ . If you have older parts to give you can get it even cheaper.

I agree, this is the best advice that can be given on the subject now.
