[Hoping this is the right place]

The FAQ says that you can customise your particular world with decisions about the events in Origins and II.  What I'm wondering is whether it will let you incorporate (or not) particular aspects of the novels as well.  Like, say, specify that Evangeline does "inherit" Faith from Wynne, but Fiona is not secretly Alistair's mother.  Will that be possible (and if it's not and if there's time to, would you consider making it so)?

I'd say no. The novels and other aspects of the game are compeletelt under control of the respective authors (and Bioware in general). Since you aren't playing a character that can make any choices, then the novels don't have events or points where you, as a player, can influence what happened or what is true or not.

No, I think it's safe to make that bet.

If anything, your save states might alter parts of the events from the novels, such as Wynne dying in DA:O would obviously mean that Evangeline at the very least would be dead.
