I would hate a delay for dragon age. I mostly would hate it as I am already starving for a good "bioware" style RPG game. Games like the Witcher just don't do it for me. Not that others games are "bad" per se, they just don't scratch that specific itch. In the witchers case I don't like the protagonist.

Exactly how I feel tbh, there hasn't really been another developer like Bioware that scratches this particular RPG style crave I have

You guys should look into Bound by flame. Combat may put you off though, that's kinda like Witcher but characters, customization and all that is like DA.

This is me, too.

I thought Lords of the Fallen had an amazing trailer but then was disappointed to find out your protagonist runs around on his own with no companions.

Oooh so you have a party in that game? I've seen the trailer ages ago but forgot all about it til you mentioned it.

(Lol at bearded white guy protagonist. :P )

Yeah, I saw this on youtube as well and it looked pretty interesting.

Then I read the comments and everyone was hating on it because apparently they are copying witcher...

I couldn't care less if they did, as long as we get a customizable character I tend to be pretty happy. Witcher is a good game and all but I'd prefer a little customization to it, I dont really like fixed characters.

There is a character creator in the game, you can play as a female too. The story and customizability is like Dragon Age while the combat itself seems like Witcher(which I personally don't mind since I'm more for story, characters and customization anyway).

Here a look at an early build of the game:

Dragon Age Inquisition was delayed by a full year.  Fall 2013 was its original release date, supposedly.  This was done very early in production, as opposed to late in the game like Watch Dogs, which was delayed just a month before it's original release date back in November 2013.  There is of course still a chance that it may be delayed, but Fall 2014 is a big window.  Technically any date between September and December could qualify as a "Fall" release date.

I've been following the development news on Bound by Flame for a while, and it doesn't look too bad.  They recently announced a May 9 release date.  I think I’m going to give it a try.
