I defeated Black Garius, but I can't loot his corpse. He died near statue (The one I have to click) and it seems game can't recognize there's corpse on that small area. Is Garius supposted to drop anything?
I'm in vale of merdelaine for the first time!

No, he doesn't drop anything but he always* runs over and falls in that circle and leaves the corpse to lure you into the trigger to start the next scene.
* "always" being a relative term, of course - though I've tried to keep him out of there and it's tough to do.

Whoever though of that, is real sadist. I am always careful what I click on, so I didn't fall for that. But really genius, thou.

Garius might automatically drop some shadow reaver bones, but they're only useful for converting to essences for crafting, and I think your crafting opportunities are well and truly over once you're in the sanctum.
